Maybe the fight would have sold out in Miami with the Cuban fan baseBoxing is big in N.Y just not Wilder , who hasn't marketed himself properly and will need Joshua for any relevant payday .
Gaging the actual event ? Its a huge fight , thats why Hearn wants to put Joshua in that venue to show his drawing power in comparison to Wilder whos fought there and still cant attract the same level that Joshua does .
Shame it’s not a sell out because it’s a genuine good fight on paperComment

Are people really that juiced up about this fight? I don’t see it. I think this heavyweight fight is no different than what we’ve been getting the last 15 Years. Just blah, IMO. Wilder is good I guess but he not getting me excited about this fight or the heavyweight division. No matter who wns this fight and who comes out on top in the whole heavyweight division, the division still sucks and there’s no quality to it.Comment

As I already wrote, Joshua's fight did have VIP packages for 2,000, but the standard tickets were priced similarly to Wilder's fight.
Nobody said Wilder vs. Ortiz had the most expensive tickets of all time. I simply said the tickets weren't cheap. The fight is clearly priced as a premium event.Klitschko-Jennings ticket prices were higher than Wilders.
What am I pretending that he is?Keep pretanding Wilder is something he's not
How could you possibly know?and that you worked in the businessComment

You're confusing two different things. Just because something isn't priced more expensive than usual doesn't mean it's priced cheaper than usual. These ticket prices are in line with what a big fight in NY would cost. Are they the most expensive of all time? Of course now. But it's not a budget show either like you suggested.
That's because the vast majority of tickets were bought with fees. The no fees was a marketing promotion for the last few days. Most people who bought tickets had to pay the fees.and you're even adding your own fees on here when barclays are offering discount ,no fee tickets.
Tickets are clearly selling well because Barclays just raised the prices today. All the $57 seats have increased to $67 now.Comment
