I was saying this to my friends. He will be the kind of boxer who will always fail at the highest level but he’s still entertaining

One thing I would say though and in agreement with Hearn is that he has gotten quite far with lets face it, limited skills.

He has all the tangible and intangible assets that any great fighter needs... Stamina, speed, decent power, grit, heart etc...

If he had a good trainer who know's where he'd be. At 28 it may not be too late to implement some of the fundamentals needed to go far.
Completely agree but wouldn't you think that his afather would have already told him all this instead of ruining his career?!

Bellew won fought a guy who smashes world class fighters, where Eubank fought a guy who tends to outpoint the better men he fought. Also, Bellew did win a proper version of a world title. Eubanks best win was an ancient Abraham. Bellew is annoying as hell, but he don't post videos of himself knocking out novices in the gym.Jnr getting the criticism he earned.

Bellew fought the most active Heavyweight in Haye with an ankle injury. That’s legendary! Eubank fought a current Champion.

This is what we all said after the bjs loss lol no changes then and none now.

Fact is, junior has had this much fanfare simply because eof how big a star his father was. We should realise by now he is one of the biggest names in the last 30 years.

Another fact is junior is athletic and fit but can't throw a straight punch, something he lacked 4 years ago and lacks even now lol

Eubank Jr should move back to middleweight and he will be very competitive and win a recognised belt.

I’ve seen this argument pop up a few times now

A trainer isn’t suddenly going to turn him into a P4P fighter

There is a limit to his ability, which he isn’t far off already. But I’m sure this trainer angle will be used to sell another big fight, and gullible people will eat it up.
