I know GGG won. He beat Jacobs 6-6 due to the knockdown and Alvarez 7-5 (those scores could be even more for GGG but that's how I saw them but wouldn't argue if someone had it more for GGG).

Spence is clearly feared by many of the top guys. GGG was also clearly feared by many of the top guys regardless of what Hunter says or what spin you want to put on it. GGG and Spence are both great fighters who were and are feared and avoided by many fighters in their weight class. Why does it have to become a contest of which one is the most feared and why?

Because this is NSB, so everything ALWAYS has to come down to race. And some people cant sleep at night unless they can convince everyone that (insert black fighter name) was technically better, hit harder, fought better opposition, or was avoided MORE than (insert white fighter name).

People have short memories. Sure, since Danny and Canelo made GGG look beatable people are lining up. They waited for him to get old and he kinda has. Spence is honestly on the same path right now. Everyone is willing to fight each other but nobody will go near Spence. Thurman went from not afraid to lose his"0" to looking like a businessman. I think they're hoping Spence gets old or someone else makes him look beatable.

Cotto and Canelo were ducking GGG insisting they weren't real middleweights even though they were both MW champions. Quillin was content to allow Haymon to shield him from GGG. When GGG offered to drop down to 154 for Floyd, he was told not a chance. Martinez didn't want any part of him either.

No one is ducking Spence just yet. If, by early 2019 Thurman, Garcia or Porter have not fought him, then yes they are in fact ducking him. No excuses, especially since they are all signed under Haymon.

That was about the money to. The risk wasn't worth the reward. GGG was a no name when he was mandatory to Cotto and had never fought on a PPV. Canelo said he wasn't going for that split the WBC wanted so he dropped the belt.

The three I named will get paid more than any GGG b-side has ever been paid. Yet they won't fight him

Not if they can get a similar reward elsewhere for less risk... as I said all of these guys would be getting the lion's share against other opponents but against Spence will have to settle for 50% or less of what is not yet some hugely increased purse. They might get a little more, but probably not enough to counteract the potential of reduced earnings following a loss.

And yes. Indeed the guys named would get paid more than any GGG B-side, but they are also all able to earn way more than any GGG b-side was able to earn in the MW division of the early teens without fighting Spence.

Look man, you'll think what you want to think, or maybe you just enjoy trolling on Golovkin fans, but if you're consistent and intellectually honest you pretty much have to acknowledge that despite the differing circumstances there are strong parallels between the situations of pre PPV GGG and Spence.

It's not a crime to acknowledge that both guys are good fighters, man, coming up with rubbish like one is more 'feared' just makes you the same as the idiots who said the same about GGG. You really want to emulate that? Garcia, Porter, & Thurman know they're gonna get paid well to fight Spence. More than any GGG B-side opponent has ever made. The reward will be worth the risk but they still wont fight him. That's fear.
