    He was a WBA mandatory.

I think the OP is citing alternative facts.

Wade was given close to 600k.

    Rubio 400k. Stevens 350.

Why would the Boxino MW Champ take less than he made to fight Adams when he could have forced a pursebid since Eubank Jr was sitting on the interim at the time

Remember, these are the guys who paid Monroe Jr $100k to headline an HBO show in front of a sold out arena. Like Virgil Hunter said, everybody they paid has fought him.

Garcia, Porter, & Thurman know they're gonna get paid well to fight Spence. More than any GGG B-side opponent has ever made. The reward will be worth the risk but they still wont fight him. That's fear.
Bull****. Jacobs and saunders were offered more than a million. Of course if someone dosen't sell and is unknown they won't get much. Porter and garcia sell tickets and bring in viewers so they should demand more than ggg's ducks.

No one is ducking Spence just yet. If, by early 2019 Thurman, Garcia or Porter have not fought him, then yes they are in fact ducking him. No excuses, especially since they are all signed under Haymon.
There were many ways to show that Cobra is being the usual assh0le. But yours was well put.

That was about the money to. The risk wasn't worth the reward. GGG was a no name when he was mandatory to Cotto and had never fought on a PPV. Canelo said he wasn't going for that split the WBC wanted so he dropped the belt.

The three I named will get paid more than any GGG b-side has ever been paid. Yet they won't fight him

These dudes (not to mention the managers and promoters who actually make the fights) aren't afraid but if they think they've got a good chance of losing they want to get paid more. The difference between WW (and in fact with the US dominated divisions 140 - 154) and the MW of the early 'teens is that guys like Garcia, Porter and One Time can get decent paydays anyway... Spence ain't gonna make it into a superfight yet they're gonna have to give him a bigger part of the cake.

Like you say, when Golovkin paid enough, guys fought him, but as long as there were other, more lucrative options - or at least lucrative enough options - the bigger names (such as there were) had no need to fight him. Same rules apply, just the pay scales were different.

It's all about risk and reward, man. Always has been. Dudes talking about top level fighters being cowards or 'scared' are children living in some WWE fantasy of 'goodies' and 'baddies'.
But Danny, Porter, and Thurman all know they'll make good money fighting Spence. So I don't understand their excuse for not fighting him. The risk is worth the reward

He was not the mandatory. That was a showcase fight for HBO. That fight was announced two weeks of GGG defeating Murray. They didn't even attempt to find another opponent. He defeated Murray on Feb 21st. The Monroe Jr fight was announced March 13th. That fight was already done going into the Murray fight. All GGG had to do was win.

Peter Nelson is a known liar. He also said Matthysse-Kiram was a 50/50 fight.

You don't know what you're talking about. You didn't even know Monroe Jr got paid $100k. Your opinion is irrelevant. Go have a seat. The grownups are talking
