    Interesting comparison really.

Both had a bit of talent, and got some of the best schooling you can possibly get. But both had similar problems with arrogance/narcissism and not listening to trainers.

I would say Chavez Jnr beating Lee by KO and giving Martinez a last round scare probably a better career so far than CEJnr. But Jnr has time to come back, even if i am skeptical about his mental abilities to do so. Chavez was probably more hyped by casuals, but i reckon CEjnr probably convinced more (not all) genuine fans of boxing that he was the goods. I was certainly impressed with how he looked in some fights vs the right opponents

I thought Chavez JR has some skills but is fully lazy and has no commitment. Eubank is far from lazy, but is arrogant and not intelligent.

In relation to skill level, Eubank clearly.

Chavez got a lot more hype, but he was actually a solid fighter, just far from A level. He was overrated and shoved down our throats, but he has some good wins and won a world title.

Eubank just doesn't have the talent to be a decent fighter. Chavez has some talent, but no work ethic and terrible ring IQ. Both will never live up to their fathers' legacies, but at least Chavez had a decent career up to this point. I have my doubts that Eubank will.

Tbh Chavez isn’t as too bad he’s just a lazy stoner.

Eubank Jr was on some Anthony Mundine type of delusions. If we’re being honest we probably know Eubank jr for winging shots at bags (on instsgram) more so than beating people.

Hell, if I only heard the Charles Martin “Walk this earth like a god” quote without knowing who said it I would have thought it came from Eubank jr (or his “corner”)........ or David Haye.

Almost started beliving the hype tbh... almost.

I do think Eubank Jr is dedicated to being an athlete. But Chavez Jr actually hold a decent win over Andy Lee.

Eubank hasn't beaten anyone yet. Other than Yildirim who was hyped for knocking James DeGale's veneer out in sparring.

Chavez Jr although it might be tough to argue it cuz his other failings are in motivation & drive which probably makes his skill look worse then it is.

Eubank Jr seems more skilled to me, but he's just got no roadmap for his fights. He just outskills the guys he can beat & when he fights better guys he has the skills still, but no plan b after a guy figures out what he can do or goes in knowing what he can do & has come up with a counter strategy. Most cats aren't skilled like RJJ or Mayweather so coming up with some strategy to counter their skills is doable for most guys out there on the world class level.
