Eubank is not completely devoid of talent, but his arrogance and sheer ******ity will always hinder his chances for high-level success. He needs to develop some maturity, unfortunately it's not something his father can help him with.

I'm not even entirely sure that's his fault.

His dad and Ronnie Davies are always talk about how special he is, doesn't need a trainer etc. etc. They have made him the way he is. He'll always come up short against good fighters because the people around him refuse to address his flaws and act like he has a divine right to win.

The experienced people in his team are deluded, so what chance has Jr got of being realistic.

You're right, and you could almost feel sorry for Eubank Jr when you consider what his upbringing must have been like with a man like Eubank Sr as a role model. They've created a monster like Frankenstein, but unlike Frankenstein this monster does not elicit sympathy. I don't know if Frankenstein seemed more likeable because he could not speak, but I know that it's hard to appreciate Eubank Jr whenever he starts to move his lips.
