    Could be.

He's definitely the new boogeyman at 147.

    Nobody wants none.

The exact same risk reward calculations apply, and we always think that that the brash youngster is gonna take on any challenge, but strangely, once they get that belt about their waist, they very rarely do... let's just wait and see, huh, and hope Errol gets the chances GGG didn't.
of course we havent had the chance to see it...and i hope we never do

but IM confident...and i think many others are that spence would go find a challenge rather than sit around for the next 5 years fighting b-/c level guys....id bet anything on it...spence is built for that....he wants that....hes not content defending against ibf injury replacements and dragging guys up two divisions

not to mention spence would still have about 5-6 years of doing what golovkin did before hed be at that point.....thats 12-15 fights without stepping up to a challenge....cant see it...and in reality neither can you........youll just say anything to defend your idol

Yes he is. Some welterweights say they can beat him but somehow they never actually sign the contract and fight him. I think he beats all welterweights but he has to settle for KOing the best guys who aren't ducking him.

Said this a while back. All of these dudes will come running once he's a huge money maker, which will be soon. Fans are seeing the knockouts pile up and the exciting performances and they'll push him to that level.

Its certainly looking like a similar situation. And the problem here is unlike GGG Spence actually has real potential to be the face of boxing or at least the face of American boxing...but he's not gonna become that til he fights the guys out there that don't want none right now.

And the really effed up thing is all those guys likely have a better chance of beating Spence now & creating a rivalry with him & getting paid nice for two or three fights than they'll have waiting a year or two while he gets better & potentially beats them more one sidedly & gives less opportunity for a rematch, trilogy or a real rivalry.

              .

My idol, huh? Now you see, that's kinda amusing cos I'm not the guy making GUARANTEES about the future behaviour of a celebrity I've never even met based upon my positive beliefs about him...

Anyway. Whatever. If you like we can trade insults for a while, but frankly that doesn't hold much interest for me - at least, unless you start showing a fair bit more wit and creativity than I usually see in your posts.

              OR

We could talk about the actual point I was making which was simply that the reasons fights get made and careers go well or poorly has very little to do with some clichéd Hollywood vision of goodies and baddies, cowards and hungry young lions and very much to do with having the right opportunities at the right time, having the right promoter and being in a position to offer sufficient financial reward to get the guys you want in the ring. You know. Risk and reward. That sort of thing. Grown up reasons.

Though if it suits you to put some of these guys on a pedestal, man, who am I to piss on your parade?

Never heard he knocked him down.

Just heard that he handled him and landed big shots on him and gave him a black eye.

Spence will become the new GGG if he faces Canelo and gets lit up like a Christmas tree as Gorovkin did

Difference is Golovkin is hated for being ducked. As if people are ****** they don't know how to recognize ducks.

I was just thinking about this earlier. Saw an interview with Porter where he said because he wasn't thinking of Spence 3 years ago that somehow justifies him not fighting Spence now

If you have to go that far back to tey and make up an excuse then you are ducking. Right after I watched the video I said to myself "Spence is the new GGG"
