Is Spence gonna become the new GGG?

What props does a fight fan have to give to a fighter for making money when the whole premise of his existence as a fighter is to entertain, we don't watch to hope a fighter wins this isn't a game of football where your team never changes.
Least I can make sense of that mumbo-jumbo you typed up, wheres my ****ing props?
So why should I give Floyd props for making money?Comment

no, i think spence actually moves up in weight to challenge him self if 147 cant offer genuine challenges...Thurman said hes not fighting anybody good in 2018.
Porter said hes gonna wait on Thurman.
Garcia is also waiting for Thurman.
Horn/Crawford winner wanna face old man Pacquiao.
Matthysse wants old man Pacquiao.
Vargas is waiting on Thurman.
Khan said after Lo Greco he wants old man Pacquiao.

It's as if Spence doesn't exist. I'm afraid hes gonna end up like GGG. getting the IBF belt meant nothing since guys still scared. I think with how he obliterated Peterson he scared everybody off. because none of the guys I just mentioned would destroy Peterson in that manner. that performance turned Spence into the boogeyman of 147.
GGG was avoided by champions like Sturm, Sergio, Cotto, Froch and Eubank. the last guy I remember being ducked as hard as these two is Winky Wright.
Spence wants to clean out the division in one year but ducking and politics will probably stretch that mission out to 4 years instead. its pathetic. and then we wonder why these guys can't match the resumes of boxers in the past. when theres no duckers you can build a resume easy.
Spence is a Haymon boxer calling out other Haymon boxers and still cant get them in the ring. not even Haymon can overcome the power of a ducker in his own stable.Comment

Outside of Spence not making 147 by this time next year, those two are clearly on a collision course. The issue both have though outside of fighting on different Networks is they're still relatively unknown in the grand scheme to make it a big commercial fight which I think both parties involved would want it to be. Maybe that'll change within a year's time but not sure it'll be THAT much for both parties to really gamble on their guy because essentially that's what it's gonna come down to. I'm optimistic it happens IF they both and dominant in the next 18 months but Spence's weight does kinda concern me as time goes on.Comment

spence will/could NEVER become the next ggg for two reasons
at age 27 spence has already fought someone that golovkin has fought in the last 2 years
AND
if the days ever came where the top guys in his division were ducking him i guarantee spence WOULD go find a fight somwhere instead of sitting on his butt fighting B-/C level comp in his division...he would go find a fight and make one...instead of sitting around for the next 5 years fighting bums
id bet spence would go to 160 to make a fight before he'd sit around like golovkin didComment

And just how you gonna guarantee that, man? If Spence brings enough money to entice top fighters into the ring then he'll get the top fights... if he doesn't what's he gonna do? Move up two divisions or fight for peanuts? The exact same risk reward calculations apply, and we always think that that the brash youngster is gonna take on any challenge, but strangely, once they get that belt about their waist, they very rarely do... let's just wait and see, huh, and hope Errol gets the chances GGG didn't.spence will/could NEVER become the next ggg for two reasons

I doubt it. There are two huge factors that separate Spence from Golovkin. Spence is much younger than Golovkin was when he burst onto the scene. Golovkin's first fights in front of a large audience in the US was in 2012, when he was 30. Spence is already a world champion at 27.
And second, Spence is of the right nationality. It's very difficult for a fighter from a small, non-boxing nation to become a mainstream star. For everyone who says "Pacquaio" there will be 1000 people who never made it. Spence is American. He's got a huge edge.
Spence's fate is mostly in his own hands. If he doesn't screw something up (ala Broner), he will get huge fights, and he can become a superstar.Comment
