I still don’t see what the big deal is for Lomachencko-Linares. I’m not saying it’s a bad fight. I’m just saying we know what Linares’ ceiling is. He’s good, but not elite. I think there should be a lot more demand for Lomachencko to fight Mikey. And weight shouldn’t be an issue because Lomachencko is supposedly going up to either 40 or 47 for a Pacquiao fight later this year. So he should be able to do 40 for Mikey. In the event Mikey is done at 35. Mikey-Lomachencko is a superfight. Lomachencko-Linares is a good fight.

A complete waste of money for that exhibition in which Guillermo threw the fight, costing the sport fans like Walters. The networks are losing money obviously, the theater looked empty so we can rule out any substantial return at the gate that's for sure.

But when Tank fights, its a sold-out show. Billy Dib is a former world champion and Gervonat must get through him to reclaim the throne and his IBF jr. lightweight title.

Gervonta Davis is not even in his prime, so he can take his time to mature into this game. WTF? The start time gets pushed back just like it has for pay-per-views in the past when games go to overtime and they aren't even on the same network. The idea is to get the biggest audience possible. And you Einstein, there would be an undercard that would be effected. It isn't a one fight card. Sometimes they move the undercard fight to ESPN2 until the game is over. Have you even watched some of these ESPN fights?

Thay would be PERFECT! Show the GGG/Canelo 2 replay and then followup with Linares/ Loma like old times.

I'd rather watch it on ESPN. Bigger audience. Cable is expensive enough as it is.

In the end, It will be easier to disappoint ESPN than tell Lomachenko the Linares fight is out of reach, especially for more money. Appease ESPN with another fight, maybe push Oscar into a future match-up on ESPN. Trust me, Lomachenko is a funny guy, he only fights because Bob promised title fights. If this fight doesn't happen I wouldn't be at all supersized to hear that Lomachenko walked and maybe even walked away from boxing all together. Vasyl is one fight Bob can't win, Lomachenko is that serious, that determined, and that freaking crazy.

You see how difficult Arum is to work with and the poison pills he puts in his offers (my fighter called your guy out but we can only offer you a contract on the same day you replay the biggest fight of the year and also have a live show so you have to compete against your own network). And this is for Golden Boy who said they have no problem letting their guy fight on ESPN just pick any of the other dozen dates you have and Arum is not flexiable. No chance Arum let's Loma fight Mikey, loma talking about moving up to 135 you think he's jumping up 2 weight classes to 140 to fight Mikey? And then you have a even tougher network battle Mikey's post fight interview after broner said he is fighting only on Showtime and Arum kept Mikey on the bench for 2 years as a grudge and had to be taken to court to get free of him. You have a much better chance of seeing Loma/Linares then Loma/Mikey.

Why not to put Loma vs Easter or vs Beltran or vs Pac at the worst scenario or even Berchelt?
Arum has plenty of options and Linares looses his belt to Mickey, Oscar is screwed. He just bluffes now, he will agree on Lomas at ESPN May 12 if pushed right.
