I think Pac has earned the right to fight whoever he chooses not Bob.
"Don't act like you pay for **** when you don't pay for ****".

Manny Pacquiao is living, fight advance to fight advance; he can't say **** because all Arum can then do is simply stop the advances where Pacquiao would be ****ed.

Miguel Cotto can fight whomever he wants, working with whatever company he wants, because he walks into any fight negotiations standing as a man; he fights for his own company and he doesn't bother with fight advances.

    Pacquiao made his own bed.

That would make a whole lot of sense if what you wrote is true but ffs cmon man how could pac be living advance to advance when he has made soo much money in the sport. You are probably right though. Once you live a certain lifestyle its hard to go backwards.

Some people still deeply support PEDquiao so they will tear you apart as having an "agenda".

The dude was scared to challenge Arum in 2009 and now, almost a decade later, still scared.

If you honestly want to argue that Horn-Crawford and Pacquiao-Alvarado are fights that merit PPV, that's on you.
no on argued they should be on ppv. Horn-Crawford is only on ppv because Pac is on the card. That is the equivalent of having wilder and spence on the same card which wouldn't happen because it is too expensive coupled with the fact that Horn is an expensive B side. Pacquiao can do 250k ppvs at this point in his career vs any reputable opponent. Bigger numbers vs bigger opponents so I get that he would stay on ppv but its a shame Crawford and Horn are getting lumped on it but with Crawford-Horn costing over $4 million alone I can see why.

The only reason Manny vs Horn was on ESPN and not PPV was because the Australian govt kicked in 10million and the fight was in Australia

If Pacquiao can still do 250k homes, what are we talking about here? At $65/$75, 250k buys still clears maybe $7m from the PPV (cable operators get their cut, while Top Rank keeps the HBO fee in the pot). The last Vegas date sold $7.5m at the gate (so let's say that Pacquiao can still draw $5m).

International tv, the other money from Vegas, event sponsors, merch, etc, and you've got a pot that should easily be well over $10m (and likely approaching $15m to divvy up).

Maybe I'm missing something here, but if you're right, why not air Pacquiao-Alvarado as 'Top Rank PPV with ESPN talent' PPV (to pocket that money), add then package the re-air of Pacquiao-Alvarado with a live airing of Horn-Crawford on ESPN?

ESPN still doesn't do any special boxing coverage, you get to pull a gate in Vegas and New York within days of each other, and you get to sell to ESPN as added value content something you already made your money off of.

If Pacquiao really was good for $10m in the US (without counting any international money), the move by Top Rank would be different.

He was irrelevant after Marquez finished him. He was a shell of himself after that.

tip rank lost money paying Pac his huge purse in bradley trilogy. Then lost again on the reduced purse vs Vargas. Remember the horn fight had the Australian govt put up 10 million besides the espn money.

Your idea doesn’t work because Top Rank doesn’t have back to back espn Saturdays.

Pacquiao should fight Broner, Matthysse or. Lomachenko. Nothing else matters.
