thats the puzzy floyd mayweather mentality. gassiev at 24 years old is about to fight usyk with the winner guaranteed to win FOTY and be top three P4P. canelo at age 23 faced floyd with a weight disadvantage. ray leonard was 24 when he faced roberto duran. crawford is 30 and spence is 27. and you want to marinate for another two years? floyd wants to keep tank away from loma to squeeze more money out of him beating on bums but tanks image has already suffered. all over social media hes a coward and he hears it all because he responds to the comments.Crawford and Spence are the best two fighters at welterweight and super lightweight, we all know that. Both are great for the sport. If one of them loses, it will hurt one's marketing ability and thus hurt the sport. They should beat guys like Thurman, Lomachenko, Canelo, etc., clean up around them before they fight. I will enjoy watching them tear down the opposition and boxing will have that Mayweather-Pacquiao excitement again sooner or later. When they finally fight, it will be one of the greatest and most anticipated fights ever.
If they fight now, then yeah, we will get the best possible fight in boxing at the moment, but we will stand with a long silence after the storm... This is a fight worth marinating.Comment

You sure made a statement there! Spence is out growing 47. I also think that is another reason why he is so gung hoe about getting it on asap. I think a lot of peeps fail to realize that he is a young, hungry fighter, that is still growing physically. It may be 2019 when these super fights come around. I don’t think Danny or Broner should even be mentioned in the 47 category, until 1 really proves something there. I mean Danny looked like it was life and death the first 9 rounds against Guerrero. I also think that Keef dominated DSG , until he started boxing and moving. That very well could have been bc if the injury as well. Now he’s fighting Brandon Rios as his comeback fight. I know he needs to knock the rust off, but Rios? C’mon bro. Broner, if he doesn’t get his boxing career on track asap he’s done, walking through Figaroea would be a start. Broner has some issues, maybe Kevin Cunningham can help, maybe not.... but I think it is a step in the right direction. He has needed change for a while, Kevin might be the perfect fit. But right now, he shouldn’t be in any topics of relevance at 147 right now, imho.I have no issue with the tune up coming off a long layoff. Do that and then what-Porter rematch? Broner? Garcia rematch? If you are going to do that you might as well fight Spence.
Spence looks to outgrowing 147 very soon. It would be ideal fr him to fight Thurman and Crawford before he does.
We all want the Crawford/Spence fight this year.Comment

News flash: One top fighter losing to another top fighter does not equal huge market loss. In fact, the opposite could hold true. As long as it is a good, competitive fight, which in all likelihood it will be- The stage for a rematch or even trilogy will be set.Comment
