Crawford and Spence should NOT fight

Crawford and Spence are the best two fighters at welterweight and super lightweight, we all know that. Both are great for the sport. If one of them loses, it will hurt one's marketing ability and thus hurt the sport. They should beat guys like Thurman, Lomachenko, Canelo, etc., clean up around them before they fight. I will enjoy watching them tear down the opposition and boxing will have that Mayweather-Pacquiao excitement again sooner or later. When they finally fight, it will be one of the greatest and most anticipated fights ever.

If they fight now, then yeah, we will get the best possible fight in boxing at the moment, but we will stand with a long silence after the storm... This is a fight worth marinating.

I would actually prefer if they fought in early 2020.
The number alone would make it more memorable, lol.

Personally, I'm looking forward to it a lot. It's a true 50-50 fight, between two of my current favorites. But I'm thinking about the sport as a whole. Both should be built into true star status before we get a fight of such huge magnitude. It should earn its money's worth, IMO.

neither of them are going to be big stars. Crawfords considered p4p number 1 by many and hes not remotely a star. Thats not going to change. THe impression i get is that people would rather have 2 fighters to brag about than 1 losing their undefeated record.

Respect your opinion but this fight should realistically be no more than 3 fights away.

Spence has the mando and then the Thurman fight (although Thurman is trying to delay it). Crawford has the Horn fight, then probably a home mando/optional def should he win since Manny seems reluctant to fight.

I would have them fight right after. However, If you want to maximize the Spence/Crawford fight put Spence in with Broner and Crafword in with Manny one or 2 weeks apart from each other and then have the winners fight.

                So my color matters here?
Bro, I'm black, I'm honestly not in any shortage of fighters to brag about...

Your impression is wrong. It may be right in some cases, but not in this one.

A lot of the thug life YouTube channels don’t want it. It preserves the image of both fighters for various agendas but also has political inconsistencies.

One would say, have Spence away from TC as to not disturb a Top Rank star in the making. This is the reason why TC’s handlers don’t want Spence now. They want TC to adjust at Welter. The reality is that Spence now will fold TC, he’s just bigger and stronger. Of course it would look like TC would have a work rate, by Spence is a live war dog and can take everything TC can offer until the Light Welter folds and they throw the towel.

Basically it’s all so that Haymon is pressured to have his fighters duke it out while at least TC can acclimate.

TC vs Horn (Top Rank) is small time compared to Spence vs Thurman.
