Why hasn't Deontay Wilder faced the following boxers in his pro career so far?

Most of the guys arent even in their primes yet that are in top 10 some dont even have 25 fights ? lol
You also have 3 undefeatted champions and a handful of olympic stand outs on their way coupled with under the radar guys who are going to be extremely dangerous .
Wilder around 8 years more ? Not gonna happen ,his first 2 L's he eventually takes and hes probably out .....say what you like about either Klitchko but they were TRUE fighters and stuck around fighting the top guys that were available. Vitali became injury prone after the Lewis fight , a fight he TRIED to get twice .
All you guys moaned how old Lewis was but wont do it for Ortiz the guy close to 50 ? lol
Wilder is at his peak and his mentality will be one who wont want to risk multiple losses thats why Ortiz in all likely hood will be his best win .

Vitali Klitschko never claimed he was the greatest heavyweight of all time and never disrespected past heavyweight champions like Wilder has done. And unlike Deontay Wilder, Vitali Klitschko has faced every mandatory challenger whilst Wilder has avoided many.
But yes, I would agree that Vitali Klitschko was never the REAL champion during the Klitschko era. That was his younger brother Wladimir Klitschko. Which is why Vitali Klitschko only held one title and faced fewer top level opposition compared to Wladimir Klitschko.
If Deontay Wilder wants to face weak competition, then that's fine and I wouldn't criticize him. However, only when he starts claiming he is a 'great' heavyweight, whilst disrespecting past great heavyweight champions and whilst he avoids his mandatory challengers as a title holder is when I'm going to be critical of his level of opposition.

Pulev, Jennings, Chisora, & Wach don't matter, and never really did.
Vlad was too busy getting his azz whooped by Fury & AJ.
Vitali retired.
Miller, nobody want's to break their hands on a big slow target.
Takam, he's an International punching bag so maybe he should have.
Whyte, why do people keep trying to dredge up this loser?
Breazeale, he should have, just to get him outta there.
Ruiz Jr. needs to lay off the Krispy Kremes if he's gonna do anything in the pros.
Tyson is whacked out on pharmaceuticals and will prolly never be back.
Hughie? ...... really? ......... your joking right?
Haye hasn't mattered in a very long time, he should thank Tony Bellew for giving him a farewell tour.

7) Carlos Takam

9) Dominic Brezeale

11) Tyson Fury

14) Dereck Chisora
These are ALL the BEST heavyweight boxers available that were in the top 10 at some point during their careers. They are also the best available heavyweight boxers based on them having the best win/loss ratios out of their career records. Their resume is also the best with all of their opponent's win/loss ratio being the best.
So the excuse that no quality heavyweight exists for Deontay Wilder except 3 or 4 heavyweights to fight against is only that, an excuse, a myth and is totally false!
Even if we exclude the following 3 'drug cheats' who failed drug tests:
1) Alexander Povetkin
2) Luis Ortiz
3) Andrzej Wawrzyk
There are AT LEAST 14 other top quality opponents available for Deontay Wilder to face. What excuse does Wilder have of not facing them? That's right, NOTHING!
If the ABSOLUTE BEST POSSIBLE OPPONENTS like Anthony Joshua and Tyson Fury are unavailable. Then he could face the next best available / possible opponents such as the boxers out of the list I mentioned. Instead, Wilder chooses to fight lower ranked opponents with inferior win/loss ratios out of their career records and with inferior resumes.
The only other decent opponents he has faced are:
1) Bermane Stiverne
2) Johan Duhapas
3) Chris Arreola
4) Gerald Washington
Out of the number of bouts he has had, that's a horrible resume / level of opposition he has faced for one of the TOP heavyweights in the world and for a heavyweight champion.
Deontay Wilder has been PROVEN to be a relatively UNPROVEN FRAUD!

And anyone who knows boxing knows that declaration to be a bunch of crap. He hasn't even proven himself the best today yet. He has passed on some tough fights. He's also made some and he's had a few fall through by not fault of his own. That doesn't make him a fraud, but I can see how what he said could rub you the wrong way.
So I'm merely questioning Wilder's lack of accomplishments, relative to his claims about his quality as a boxer.
Again, I wouldn't have a problem if Wilder kept his mouth shut, wasn't a title holder and continued feasting on bums / low level opposition. However, that obviously isn't the case though.

Originally posted by JAB5239 View PostLol, Lewis fought a who's who of fighters over his career. And why would anyone moan about his age when he beat Vits? And if V. Klit was a TRUE fighter than why does he get a pass for missing 28 top 10 fighters in his career while Wilder has missed 12 with 2 of them being because of failed drug tests? These are the double standards and turning a blind eye I'm talking about. I've never said Wilder was a world beater or doesn't have faults. The one thing I will say is he is certainly one of the best and seems willing to prove it against Joshua. On top of that, he's the most exciting heavyweight in the division right now, in my opinion.
Vitali was out of boxing for about 4 years ,thats nothing compared to someone whos actually IN boxing with a terrible resume on 40 fights no matter how you try and coat it . The main reason Vitali didnt fight the BETTE R opposition overall bc Wlad had three belts but you know this !
You are the one creating double standards ! Again im VERY familiar with your posting style so no logical discussion can come of this as no logical discussion can come of talking about Povetkin with Mr . Objectivity ....lol
