You can like or hate Vargas.. but you can't dispute his willingness to fight the best.. He genuinely wants to face the Top guys in the division and tries to make those fights.

Totally agree. Jessie will fight anybody. He's not a great fighter, obviously...he's a good, solid fighter. Can beat most but not the top tier guys. But he'll take on any challenge. I love that about Jessie.

lol none of those guys hurt him, not anything noticeable in boxing standards to discuss anyways. Only guys that notably hurt him have been Collazo and Soto Karas.

It is a ****** argument because Vargas had no idea how much Kell was making. Kell has a manager to negotiate his pay with Hearn. Just like Vargas has a manager and promoter to negotiate his pay. Vargas didn't know what Kell was making. Hearn offered Vargas the money and he accepted. His job isn't to negotiate for Kell.

You think Top Rank/Vargas didn't know how much the fight was worth and they were asking for more than they deserved? You think Hearn offered Vargas more than Brook because he wanted to? They knew exactly what they were doing. Vargas overpriced himself because he thought Brook had no other options and it backfired. I don't know why you're finding that so difficult to see.

So basically Thurman is marinating EVERYONE.

I hadn't realized that the dude hadn't fought in nearly two years now. It doesn't matter who he gets in the ring with at this point, they're going to make him look vulnerable, so he might as well stop letting fights marinate and just take someone in the Top 10 and be done with it. Frankly, I don't know why he didn't call out Horn before the Crawford fight was made - I think Thurman wins that easily.
