With Hearn in the US maybe thats doable. I feel like the odds Ward would go to the UK or more to the point Hearn could offer him enough to go to the UK is unlikely.

Seems like Ward is "retired" more than retired more & more doe cuz dude seems to be taking his time courting offers more than he's out of the sport.

wards not a draw. kovalev rematch did 6000 attendance and lost lots of money on ppv. i really dont know why anyone in boxing would want to be int he ward business. its just a money loser. and for what? so some guy can clinch and cheat his way to victory?

Bellew at 200lbs is a hell of a lot harder to beat than the weight drained, 175lb version who got KTFO by Stevenson.
Who has Bellew fought at CW that makes you think that? He had better wins at lhw.

I get Bellow is from the U.K. so you blindly stick up for him. He is good, but he would get KO'd by Superman at any weight. Bellew could weight 220 and Superman 175 and Superman would still ko him.

You can live in your fantasy world all you want, but the overwhelming majority of real boxing fans would give Ward a lot more credit for beating Stevenson than someone who go KO'd by Superman. And remember, Stevenson gets dogged all the time for fighting Bellew! He is known as the worst cherry picker in modern boxing for fighting pub fighters like Bellew. Literally, everyone agrees Superman fights bums, including Bellew. Bellew fought bums at CW and even his CW fight with Cleverly could have went to Cleverly.

Stevenson is a cherry picker for fighting a prime Bellew. Bellew beat no one of worth at CW. A 35 year old Bellew is meaningless for Ward. The WBSS champ at cw and at smw are tougher fights. Stevenson is a tougher fight. In fact, Ward would get more credit for beating Biviol, Beterbiev, and Jack than for a 35 year old who has been the posterboy for a "cherry" in boxing. What's Ward gonna do if he beats Bellew, call out Flores???

There is plenty of talent at lhw. The WBSS is producing a better opponent at CW, and the smw winner fighting Ward at 175 would be better too. This talk of fighting Bellew is a joke. If he actually does fight this bum, it will only hurt his legacy to come out of retirement to beat a washed-up fighter who was only C level in his prime.

The money that Ward wants is only available in the UK vs. Bellew or Joshua.

He is #6 at CW and #10 at HW according to TBRB.

He was previously rated as high as #4 at CW.

Is Bellew not a cat UK cats would fly over to watch in Vegas?

Thats what I was thinking maybe, but admittedly I usually got less of a vibe on how loyal fanbases are in the UK for guys. I still don't get the Whyte or Groves hype trains.

Why would they come to the US for that fight? No one in America cares about that fight in the slightest. They need to do it in Everton's stadium for the vacant WBC title. That probably draws at least 20K. For comparison's sake, Ward-Kovalev 2 sold 6K tickets.

Cuz Hearn is operating in the US now too & UK cats fly to Vegas to see unwinnable fights w/UK guys here from time to time. I think Bellew gots the size to make him have a solid chance to upset Ward.

Like I said I got no clue how loyal the Bellew UK fans are doe so who knows.

I think its a longshot to happen wherever...I'm just talking...but I think knowing Ward its more makeable in the US & I'm merely speculating on the $ that could make that happen.
