With all due respect, you simply don't know anything about the business of boxing. Zero. You're a fan on the internet guessing. It's impossible to have a productive conversation with you because you know so little and yet for some reason think you know so much. Crawford-Postol didn't even do 50,000 buys. Crawford's following was basically nonexistent back then. Even now, his fan base is about 25% the size of Wilder's fan base. To think Wilder vs. King Kong wouldn't do better on PPV than Crawford vs. Postol is just so idiotic that it's hard to justify reading the rest of your post, let alone replying to it.

You list all of these reasons for why AJ is less known, I agree with all of those reasons, yet you're still arguing. WILDER IS MORE WELL KNOWN IN THE US THAN AJ. Period. Give any reason you want for why that is. That's fine. But to claim Wilder isn't more well known is just so ****** if you look at the numbers. Of course the numbers are unfair to AJ. Again you can’t compare 900k vs 300k. Afternoon fights in the USA NEVER get good ratings. Boxing replays that are same day don’t get good ratings either. There is a reason why the license fee is SMALLER for US matinees. If u really are in the boxing business u would know this.
If Joshua gets 60/40 fighting wilder in WILDERs country then you know Joshua is the draw and why he is making the bigger purse even though the late start time hurts the UK ppv market. Those are facts.
As for Wilder Povetkin, wilder didn’t have a choice. PBC got blown out of the purse bid. If Wilder dropped his belt he would be just a contender not making 7 figures a fight. And that was a court settlement that Wilder won. Not a fight and not a payday.
