Thurman's doing what most fighters do after a long lay off. The difference is they hype their opponent as if he's a top guy. Talking down your next fight isn't too good for business and I doubt if his promoter's too happy.

Not comparing them by resume of course, don't jump to conclusion. And you do YOUR homework, Keith fought Shawn Porter and Danny Garcia back to back.

As he should, when you are a champion in a stacked WW division you should be fighting the top guys.

If you are champion, definitely at least top 10 if not top 5 if unified champ. You want to be the best, you fight the best.

Errol Spence fought #1 Kell Brook and then #5 Peterson back to back. Now he wants the new #1 Thurman.

Been saying it for 6-8 months now. Give him credit he went out and won the belts but now, it's time to strip Keith Thurman and give him 1st dibs when he get's healthy enough to be in Championship caliber fights again..

It'd be best to strip Thurman let Garcia get his win put Garcia v Porter in there for the WBC that way when Thurman grow some balls he can take the rematch fights he's suppose to be taking anyway If he wants to become undisputed again...perhaps his hunger will return..

We've just seen too many good fighters stripped for less. Injury is not really an excuse when your Champion you still have mandatory obligations and such you don't ( or shouldn't ) just get to cherry pick fights like that. That's not a Champion imo

How your a Champ but your making moves like Khan or something like a fighter that's trying to rebuild instead of a Champion.

I'm not a doctor but I find it real hard to believe a 28-29 year old pro athlete elbow takes that long to heal If that's the case the next injury might retire Thurman...You got Football athletes that cut hard for a living completely tear their ACL apart and come back before Thurman..
