I say if the fight isn't announced in Q1 I'm jumping off the Thurman bandwagon.

If it doesn't happen in 2019 it's due to this injury, could be a career ender. 1 year off, surgery, etc. etc. Hopefully all this time off was just to recover properly and he's 100%.

Andrade was his biggest amateur rival I know of. He did beat Andrade once though. Amateur is different than pros anyways.

The more he talks the less I like him.Sugar ray came off a 3 and a half year layoff and fought Hagler. Is it TOOO much to ask the #1 welter(at least for now)to fight the 2nd best in his 2nd fight. This guy not a REAL fighter its not like the layoff was any longer then normal for him.I mean I'm fine with 1st fight being lower top 10 but when a "champ"comes right out and says he will not even fight a top 10 guy and will need another before taking the fight everyone wants is unreal. No need to put this guy down he does it himself.Well at least he is an honest ducker.

Andrade says that's how Thurman got his nickname....because he only beat him one time
