Is there anything wrong with letting a fight marinate?

The only thing left to marinate were his balls.

off topic but, can anyone tell me what thurman made for both the garcia fight and the porter fight? just wondering how much money he thinks he will make by letting the spence fight marinate.

Look at what happened to Brook.
Spence vs Kell should have happened right after their last respective fights, Algieri, Bizier.
Instead, Brook fought Glovkin, which resulted in an orbital bone injury, which was exactly the reason why his fight with Spence got stopped.

It's bad if you marinate it beyond its expiration date. Floyd marinated the fight for five years until his opponent lost a step. Thurman and Soemce need to fight in 2019 while they are each prime and undefeated champions.

Floyd and Manny were atg's who had done more then spence or thurman could imagine...Spence-Thurman is just a regular fight

In most cases, marinating fights is more beneficial from a business perspective than it is to the quality of the fight.
