but Bute was a miss, Ward should have taken that shine
Any independent rankings worth their salt had bute in the top 3 SUPER-middleweights in the world at the time. Hindsight is 20/20 but before froch ruined him bute was certainly top 3 and ward should have jumped in with him.

Bute had beaten nobody..... and had he beaten Froch, then Bute would have landed Ward next
Ward has happily fought MUCH better fighters than Bute..... fighters who had PROVEN they were better, not suggested that they could be
