Yes, he did. After Stevenson avoided him the first time around. Why are we rehashing facts?

Kovalev is clearly the better fighter with the better resume.

Because you have your facts wrong. Stevenson never avoided Kovalev. It was up to HBO whether they fought and HBO passed on the fight.

Kovalev is clearly the better fighter with the better resume.
Hahahaha it's one thing if you think Kovalev would beat Stevenson, you're certainly entitled to your opinion, but to claim he's "clearly the better fighter" is laughable.

Kovalev just lost twice, including by knockout. He now has a paper WBOgus belt while Stevenson is WBC champion and lineal champion.

Stevenson DESTROYED Bellew, who then went on to win the WBC world championship at CRUISERWEIGHT and also became a star at heavyweight.

There is nobody Kovalev has beaten recently that would be favored against Bellew.

When he left for Showtime in 2014 instead of fighting Kovalev on HBO.

You're being a tad disingenuous, my friend. The man in the division was Bernard Hopkins, the so-called best fighter in the division, who both he and Kovalev were chasing. And that's why he jumped to Showtime.

when he had for years an offer to fight him on hbo ppv but instead chose to watch his popularity, purses, ratings dip with fights against guys like karpency, bika, sukhotsky, etc...oh wait the purse bid was the only time the fight ever could have happened! not really...same split and everything and he chose to continue fighting bums

                    This fight is the sh.it.

So far this year I'm Looking forward to this fight the most and probably going to it.

Anyone saying otherwise ( cough .. cough.. Taxman 2000 ) is most likely a miserable life hating f.aggot
