Neither Garcia or Lomaputa are draws so the money will probably be similar for either one of them.
Dude I'm a fan of Mikey and will root for him to win this fight if it happens but you have no clue what has been going on. It's a fact that Mikey turned this fight down twice. The WBC was set to mandate both guys fight last fall it was Mikey who requested they delay enforcing this fight which was ordered back in 2016 to fix this mess of the WBC Diamond and WBC regular champ BS that the WBC created when they made Linares Champ in recess and gave the belt to Zlaticanin. Then realized they phuked that up and created the Diamond belt and making Linares the higher champ in their own ratings. Mikey beat Zlaticanin to win a paper champ but Linares is the true WBC champ and unified champ. Mikey told the WBC don't enforce this fight last summer give me an extension. Then again in the winter Mikey was officially given a contract for the fight which he turned down and again asked the WBC for an extension first to fight Easter which he backed out of and is now fighting Lipnets a fight nobody wanted to see and is his second fight back to back at 140. Dude hasn't fought at 135 in over a year and is calling for fights with dudes at 147 and higher.

What I do think is Mikey wants to be the pretty girl getting the attention in this situation & with Loma in play he's just not gonna be that. And he won't be til he beats a Loma (I don't think a Linares W even takes him there personally) or unifies 140 or do something bigger than he's done.

Granted he's done great for himself post-TR, but he's not quite there yet & if he wants to be where he wants to go he needs to embrace a fight with Loma or beating everyone who's a player at 140 or doing some damage at 147 if he thinks he can hang with the best guys there.

Too many mfers wanna be stars without doing star sh^t. Leonard paid his dues. Oscar paid his dues. Floyd & Manny paid there dues. Some of these mfers keep trying to sneak in the party without paying their dues doe.
He has mentioned Loma before. He mentioned everyone before. I just find it funny now that Loma looks to be making his trip north to 135 that Mikey is more concerned with what Linares does. He should be happy and say he will fight the winner. I mean that is the most logical and most lucrative scenario. Personally I doubt we will see Garcia back at 135 unless he somehow loses to Lipinets. The guy is all about blowing smoke.

At this point Golden Boy would be ****** to not entertain other fights when there is no guarantee Mikey will ever go back to 135 and getting him stripped means nothing to Linares because he's already the WBC diamond champ he doesn't get a new belt WBC would just consolidate the belts. Linares just wants a payday and whoever gives it to him first Loma or Garcia he gonna fight. And I don't think for a minute Mikey is afraid to fight Linares and I know Linares ain't scared because he's been trying to make this fight all 2017 and WBC wants it as well. I think the hold up is weight I think Mikey is too big for 135 and just doesn't want to cut that weight. Otherwise why didn't he just fight Easter? Easter a Haymon and Showtime fighter that was the original fight. I wish Mikey would of just said hey I don't want to fight at 135 anymore and ended this circus.

If either Garcia or Linares drops out of it this time they're the one who doesn't want the fight. I'm sure if one of them doesn't comply they'll get stripped.
You do understand last year is only a month ago. Thus far Mikey had asked to delay proceedings and then flat out turned the fight even when it came with no strings attached.

LOL at the bolded cuz thats one of my frustrations with him right now. Talking all these big names. Fights Lipinets. Okkkkkkkkaayyyyyyy.

And sh^t I'm not even dogging Lipinets. I like him & think he's not given enough credit, but when Mikey is throwing out those big names in big fights & Lipinets ends up being the dance partner idk how you can't be disappointed as a boxing fan love, hate or being indifferent to Mikey specifically.

But yea you could be onto something with that smoke blowing stuff cuz all his "risks" have been fairly measured risks still & idk that there is much argument against that. And this next fight is just another one.

I think Mikey is among the top guys at 135/140, but he's gonna have to prove he's #1 or not eventually & thats where fighting Loma & Linares or clearing out the 140lb division will go along way towards showing. I'm ready for these mfers to figure that out amongst themselves. I hope they are too soon.

Fights I would like to see for Mikey between 135 - 147

                    Loma
                    Gervonta
                    Linares
                    Easter
                    Figueroa
                    Khan
                    Danny Garcia
                    Pac
                    Thurman
                    Crawford
                    Matthysse

That's ten potential opponents that would make for good fights. If he fights at least one of them in 2018 I'd be good with that. Though I think Easter is the weakest link, so he'd need to fight someone else on that list besides Easter.
