Micky says if Linares fights Loma he will never fight him

I seen Mickey saying this before too,he might feel Loma is cutting the line and taking a fight Mickey wanted but he says if Linares takes on Loma he would either fight Easter or move to 140 and never fight him.

I guess it all comes down to who offers Linares more money. Mikey already turned down Oscar's offer which included a three fight deal. I think Loma has a better chance at landing that fight now.

He said months ago he's having 1 more fight at 135 and then moving up. If Linares fights Lomachenko then obviously the Linares fight isn't going to happen.

Yep, maybe Arum offers less but the risk is higher with Mickey from Oscars perspective and Linares before and after his fight has been adamant to fight Loma, might see Mickey as the bigger risk. But money talks so it might be a bidding war.

Mikey or Loma beats Linares IMO so if Loma fights him and beats him, what sense does it make for Mikey to fight him, especially if he beats Lipinets for a 140lb title?

Mikey should fight Flanagan or Easter (although i had fortuna beating him) if he insists on going back to 135 after Lipinets.

I think the only reason hes even coming down is to get the Linares fight or a Loma fight but if they fight each other i don't see a super fight for him to cut weight for, especially with 140 being so weak he can unify all the titles.

Yeah, the Easter fight lost so much luster after the way he fought against Fontura. Maybe Haymon just overpays both guys and they make the fight.

Mikey is frustrating me beyond belief. I love him as a fighter but this new Mikey who runs his mouth, names drops all these fighters from like 4 different weight classes, only to take a weak fight against paper champ lipnets that nobody wanted is frustrating. I think he beats Linares but it's a fact he ducked this fight in 2017. He submitted official requests not once but twice to prevent and delay the WBC from enforcing this fight that was ordered way back in 2016. Linares took the gesta fight because he turned down the contract in dec. The WBC says no more delays from Mikey and he has to agree to fight in march. You created this mess so if lomachenko slips in and gets the fight instead of you no one to blame but yourself.

I don't think it's about risk and more about golden boy and Linares not confident that Mikey who has balked at this fight numerous times amd might never fight at 135 again. Mikey wastes all his time calling out welterweight, Jr middleweight and even laughably middleweights. He's all over the phuking map and hasn't fought at 135 in a year.

Linares is the man at 135 unfied and true WBC champ anyway. I think he just wants his payday. I think Mikey would beat him but you don't get wins on paper you need to take and win the fight to get the credit. And if Linares waits and you refuse to take the fight and vacate to stay at 140 he loses out on a payday. Let the bidding war begin whoever signs first gets the fight.
