If Canelo wins & wins legit & uncontroversially I think its even MORE likely GBP will wanna make a 3rd fight.

I get the feeling Oscar doesn't like Canelo being in challenging fights based on how he's talked about this matchup + others. But he does want the least challenging fights that sell the most for Canelo. So if Canelo shows himself to be the superior fighter in the 2nd fight having learned from his mistakes in the 1st fight & gained confidence off of that I think that makes GGG the most sellable big fight that'd be highly winnable to make for GBP.

Lets not forget GBP was talking a lil bit about Cotto II & that fight wasn't really close & worthy of a rematch...but it was a big money fight.

Idk that there is any big money fight at 160 like GGG now for Canelo.

Saul Alvarez only had two realistic catchweights. The technical concept for catchweights is two boxers varying in significant weight difference. For example Khan had no business at 154 to Middleweight, but history shows boxers take risks. Pacquiao had choice to fight at higher weights too. Second, Cotto vs Alvarez. Lara, James Kirkland and Alfredo Angulo have more fights than Saul Alvarez above 154 pounds. So to them a 155 fight was perfect for them and these boxers could make money. Plus, did anybody expect Orlando Salido to beat Lomachenko? You should view things more realistically. Lomachenko in five years has gone from 126 to now 135, 24 years of age to 29. Saul Alvarez started as a teen professional and is 27, younger than Lomachenko.

both of them better bring it in the rematch!! tired of hearing talks from both camps of knocking each other out and then we get a snooze fest instead with canelo trying to imitate mayweather.

Hypothetically I can see GBP doing a business move like that if Canelo wins clearly. But based on their first fight, I just can't see Canelo winning anything more than a close decision decided by a point or two.

Let's say Canelo wins regardless, he'll have Jacobs, Saunders, and Charlo all waiting for him. I don't think Oscar is in any hurry to put Canelo in there with any of them so he might just make a third GGG fight knowing that their fight will at least be close enough to sway the judges in Canelo's favor.

I think another draw is too su****ious but I can see atleast some controversy in the decision scorecards to warrant another fight for september

And if the judging is just as bad as fight 1, yes, there will be a 3rd fight in 3 years while they wait for GGG to get even older.
                    1. If Canelo chose not to fight then how the phuk did he land more power punches then GGG? It's impossible to "not fight" yet still outland your opponent in power shots. lol

                    2. If he kept on the ropes then that should of made it easy for GGG to hit him that's what you idiots said before the fight. But now him being on the ropes made it impossible to get hit? What the phuk kind of logic is that? Face it GGG isn't what you fools claimed him to be and was too damn slow to land anything significant even when Canelo took breaks or just showboated on the ropes GGG still couldn't land. That's on GGG not Canelo

                    3. Before the fight you fans all said he will KO Canelo easily and even his own trainer said hey if the fight goes to the judges we didn't do our job we need to KO Canelo. Now that he never came close to hurting or landing anything clean on Canelo you crying about him not getting the decision in a close fight? It's the judges fault that GGG missed 500 punches, couldn't cut off the ring, landing nothing but weak jabs, and refused to throw any body punches because he was scared to get countered?

                    4. You said Canelo is scared and will never take the fight proven wrong after he did, then said will never take the rematch because he will wait till GGG is old and he took a direct rematch his next fight stop the GGG is getting old crap or Canelo is scared to fight. He signed the contract for the first fight exactly 18 months AFTER he beat Cotto and NOBODY was calling for him to fight GGG before that. And has agreed to fight him twice why would he be scared to do it a 3rd time especially when the slow fool couldn't hit him with anything hard the first fight. SMH at your excuses.
