      2. If he kept on the ropes then that should of made it easy for GGG to hit him that's what you idiots said before the fight. But now him being on the ropes made it impossible to get hit? What the phuk kind of logic is that? Face it GGG isn't what you fools claimed him to be and was too damn slow to land anything significant even when Canelo took breaks or just showboated on the ropes GGG still couldn't land. That's on GGG not Canelo

      3. Before the fight you fans all said he will KO Canelo easily and even his own trainer said hey if the fight goes to the judges we didn't do our job we need to KO Canelo. Now that he never came close to hurting or landing anything clean on Canelo you crying about him not getting the decision in a close fight? It's the judges fault that GGG missed 500 punches, couldn't cut off the ring, landing nothing but weak jabs, and refused to throw any body punches because he was scared to get countered?

      4. You said Canelo is scared and will never take the fight proven wrong after he did, then said will never take the rematch because he will wait till GGG is old and he took a direct rematch his next fight stop the GGG is getting old crap or Canelo is scared to fight. He signed the contract for the first fight exactly 18 months AFTER he beat Cotto and NOBODY was calling for him to fight GGG before that. And has agreed to fight him twice why would he be scared to do it a 3rd time especially when the slow fool couldn't hit him with anything hard the first fight. SMH at your excuses.
I agree with all this, excellent post.

Let's say Canelo wins regardless, he'll have Jacobs, Saunders, and Charlo all waiting for him. I don't think Oscar is in any hurry to put Canelo in there with any of them so he might just make a third GGG fight knowing that their fight will at least be close enough to sway the judges in Canelo's favor.
Yea that 2nd paragraph is my thinking too. And those fights with Jacobs, BJS & Charlo aren't BIG fights like GGG III would be too I think is the biggest part of the logic for Oscar.

I think part of Oscar's logic with marinating this fight all along wasn't simply money focused, but with the thought that IF Canelo were to lose he lost to someone as well known as possible. If Canelo loses to the GGG of a couple years back when GGG was less known its a bad look or badder look then it'd have been in Sept. or would be in May.

And now moving forward watch a similar thing happen with Jacobs or Charlo (I honestly don't think anyone is worried about BJS & thats part of the reason I think BJS could sneak up on both of these guys & surprise them) being marinated a lil bit & avoided til then. So anyone thinking Canelo beats GGG in May & is fighting Jacobs or Charlo in Sept. (even if BJS is out of play) is gonna be in for a surprise I bet.

For those of you who do not know squat about boxing or economics, ENOUGH with these accusations of "this judge was bought off or those judges will be bought off" and other accusations of criminal behavior. If you have evidence present it to the appropriate state attorney general or district attorney, if not, STFU. Nobody is interested in reading your nonsense. Learn about the sport of boxing, study it, write about it. You might even come to say something relevant and worthwhile. This middle school level babble demeans the sport and you as well.

You make a good argument for BJS as the next opponent for the winner. GGG or Canelo can make much more money fighting to a sold-out stadium in England with less risk than fighting either Jacobs or Charlo.
