well if its another draw or if the winner wins by 1-2 points then a trilogy makes sense.
this fight should do better PPV numbers than the first too. and if that occurs a trilogy is pretty much a certainty. making the Rock announce it was a good look. thats the highest paid actor in hollywood. major plug.

And if the judging is just as bad as fight 1, yes, there will be a 3rd fight in 3 years while they wait for GGG to get even older.

Assuming Canelo wins, let's say either in KO or convincing fashion, no one will want to pay for the third fight. I reckon the Mexican media would criticize Canelo for continuing to fight Golovkin when there are more elites in the 160 division. Again it all depends on the PPV numbers.
The worst just worst worst worst case scenario is that both parties are all fixing this just to benefit themselves where the fans are being taken advantage of. The latest video showing Canelo and Golovkin talking smack against each other seems so unnatural.
If Canelo wins. I am more than sure they will finalize the BJS fight. The only problem is that Oscar and Canelo will not approve of the WBC, so Charlo will acquire the WBC. OR, industry will approve the Undisputed unification between Saunders and Canelo. Charlo will have no pull in acquiring the WBC if Undisputed unification happens. It would be a scandal if the WBC does not acknowledge Undisputed for Canelo vs Saunders.

This is about as close as I can get to agreeing with Oscar...but I'm not really happy about it.
But yea with the fight fight being a draw (& despite Byrd's corrupt or incompetent scorecard I ultimately believe the split draw was a fair decision) I think a third fight, assuming this one isn't a blow out without controversy, does make sense within the next 9-18mos of the 2nd fight with the target date likely being May 2019.
