So if I hired Sanchez when i'm 50 and he teaches me the proper way to throw a hook that means I am suddenly in my prime?
Sanchez corrected ggg's balance, jab, inside fighting, distance management etc. There is a BIG difference between pre-Sanchez ggg and post Sanchez ggg.
Physical prime doesn't=Prime as a fighter
It doesn't matter how much of a bad ass you are, if you don't box intelligently you will lose.
Wlad & Lewis were both 6'6 240lb destroyers at one point, it got them losses to journeymen before they hired Steward. ggg was on that same path, he got rocked for the first time in his career 2008 and knew he would not last long at the top of the division.
and 35 isn't 50.

I wish Canelo would step on the scale before entering the ring for the rematch .. would love to see the difference between him and GGG .. if I had to guess I would save he comes in at 180 but will never know cause question about how he cuts and adds it back on in 24 hours !!

Ouma was done as a fighter, 2-5 in his last 7 fights, that is bad if you're not blowing this guy out.

Kobe was prime at 37
Not in his late 20’s when he was dominating

its been said many times across several boxing boards...and here specifically....if you havent seen it you arent here enough or are choosing not to see it
i can remember several instances specifically in which i was involved in the convo...and a golovkin fan would reference hopkins MW resume and compare and say "hopkins MW resume isnt much either yet hes considered a legend"...to which i explained "hopkins wouldnt be a legend on his MW resume alone...if he stopped there his resume would be torn apart and he wouldnt be some legendary boxing figure...bernard is a legend because of his resume after his MW reign"
and golovkin fans would reply "well we have to wait and see...golovkin is a young 33 and hasnt taken any real damage...he should have many years left in the sport....before we bash his resume lets give him time...who knows he could go to 168 and 175 too..his trainer says he can" and garbage like that...now they are singing a different tune completely
