Canelo never fought a fighter actively fighting at 160, Chavez was actively fighting at LHW, it was a glorified sparring session that served Canelo no purpose. This goes back to what I was saying earlier, you're only as good as the man you beat.

I personally thought Canelo would get killed, he's moved up 3 divisions, he's significantly smaller, he's slow, he couldn't knock out zombie Chavez etc.
Moved up 3 divisions? It wasn't overnight he moved up 3 divisions was it?

It doesn't matter how much of a bad ass you are, if you don't box intelligently you will lose.

Wlad & Lewis were both 6'6 240lb destroyers at one point, it got them losses to journeymen before they hired Steward. ggg was on that same path, he got rocked for the first time in his career 2008 and knew he would not last long at the top of the division.

      and 35 isn't 50.
In terms of sport, 35 is 50. 35 is the point where the vast majority of athletes who've performed at the top level retire. Since you used the NBA early on in your "argument" what's the most common retirement age in the NBA? While we are at it same with Tennis, Football, Hockey, and just about any sport that's not squash?

Here i'll help you since I know you don't bother looking up facts..

The average retirement age for athletes is: 33
      Football: 33
      Basketball: 30s
      Tennis: 27
      Hockey: 28-30
      Boxing: 31

it covers the last 3-4 years....when golovkins resume was attacked...they would reference hopkins resume and note that golovkin was still young

they said the same just two years ago.....they cited his age and claimed he hadnt taken any damage and usually dominated without getting hit much....so he would be fine going forward and could still make waves for years to come

does that help or make sense? or are you really that dumb to not understand what i meant and have to take everything literally?

        JFC what a gimp
You remember exactly what they said, you said it was such a common comment, you said it happened on many forums, now it was over the last 4 years but you can't provide any examples, can you remember what posters were saying these things you suggest, I bet you have trouble with that aswell or they've been conveniently banned

I love seeing people say Canelo moved up several divisions as if no one else would've done the same turning pro at 15.

you can pretend like it didnt happen or you never saw it...ive seen it many times

now the same guys are preluding a golovkin loss by claiming hes old now

you are a gimp tony....and a golovkin apologist...a leech on the sport
Ok a gimpy Tony.. LOL at least your original. I was referring to your post
exactly as you posted it. As you posted it it's not accurate. You also said fans not some fans. I'm a fan of G. I've never said what you inferred. Now your saying it's some fans.

tony...us intelligent people understand that when someone says "fans of so and so said this" they dont literally mean every single fan...like 100 percent of them...its just understood between intelligent, and rational, fans.....thats great that you didnt say it...but ive seen it many times....im sure you have seen it too

i dont know how to search old posts...and i certainly wouldnt spend time searching them for the last 3-4 years.....but you know that damn well golovkins fans went from insisiting he was a young "30 something fighter" who hadnt taken much damage to suddenly being old 2 fights later

No it means fans as a blanket statement. It could be 1% or it could be 80%. Anyway I leave it as it is. You made your point I made mine.
