Joshua started boxing at the age of 18

"A late starter in the sport, Joshua only began boxing in 2007, aged 18, when his cousin suggested he take it up. His club, Finchley ABC in Barnet, North London, is also home to professional heavyweight Dereck Chisora."

Sorry dude, but I think your point goes out the window.
That's interesting. That really makes me question his weight gains. I thought I was watching a teenager when looking at his amatuer film.

To be fair to him, just in terms of putting the facts out there and being as objective as possible. He wasn't exactly wiry and lean in London 2012, which was over 5 years ago now.

There's an article which mentions him being too muscle-bound as an amateur, circa 2012. I can't link it for some reason, but search 'Anthony Joshua needs to trim off some muscle to pick up speed.'
He's always been a pretty big guy. His weight has ballooned beyond an optimum point in my opinion, but I don't think it's fair to say that it's come out of nowhere, or that he doesn't naturally have the physique for it.

This doesn't mean that he's not just staying one step ahead of the testers, mind you. But I prefer an innocent until proven guilty stand-point generally.

In my opinion, any clear case of deliberate doping should be a straight lifetime ban, but that's a story for another time.
