Paulie reaching new lows to blow Espinoza and Haymon. He's officially sunk into Kellerman/Lampley bias levels now. Mismatches are not fun. I wonder if Paulie thought it was fun when Porter handled him like a chew toy.

I agree that damn near everyone is a hater or a fanboy these days. That's because they have nothing about themselves to be happy about so they hate, or they invest who they are in a fighter, (so to speak), and so they argue for that fighter, like they are protecting themselves.

IMO DG has earned his flak though. Other then haters and fanboys having their agenda driven posts, I can't think of any active fighter that gets negative fan discourse like DG does.

In ancient times, DG would have been considered to be a Taltos, and I always thought that to be very cool. I was a big fan of his initially, but he has turned my like for him in the other direction.

I'm open to being a fan of his again, but I need to see a different path.

Eh, this is a Showtime employee big upping a Showtime product. It is what it is. Respect to Paulie, but he's low level shilling here lol.

This isn't a competitive fight...just look at the odds. This isn't a fun fight...that I'm feeling anyway. If you find Rios looking like sh^t vs a bad style for him (give me Rios vs Alvarado with Alvarado being for real or Rios vs Ortiz, those would be better style types for him to fight against) & being un-competitive fun than your mileage may vary with that I suppose.

Danny Garcia is by far the biggest fraud in boxing. What a coward? Yeah this is a fun fight all right, only if you are a fan of easy cherry picking fights.

Swift is easily the most protected and overrated bum in the sport of boxing. Once he steps up his level of competition he'll get exposed as was in the case of the Keith Thurman fight in which he was carried; After Keith decided to take his feet off the gas pedal by making the fight a lot closer than what it actually was..

That is why he is avoiding all of the elites fighters in the welterweight division like Porter and Spence because he fears losing. Therefore, as an alternative, he'll continue to feast on these low risk high reward, diminished, shopworn fighters past their primes.

september 2013 he beats matthysee. Good win. I was a fan.

Then it took him 6 months to fight herrera. Long layoff, but matthysee was a tough fight, so i was ok with that. Herrera lost every time he stepped up in comp, but it was more of a filler fight after the tough matthysee win. Still ok with gracia.*

then, imo, he loses to herrera, and of course doesn't give the guy a rematch. Smh i'm still ok with garcia, because this is a business, and herrera seemed to have his number.*

then he holds the wbc belt hostage for 5 more months, and takes on a extremely overmatched salka. If he was going for another gimme fight, should have given herrera a rematch.*

then it took him eight more months to fight again. And who does he fight? The inactive peterson. A guy who matthysee koed 3 fights earlier. Garcia could only get a mixed decision.*

so after nearly 2 years of holding the wbc belt hostage, fighting no one of note, and questionable decisions, it was time for garcia to step up.*

who does he fight? Mr feather fist himself, mallinaggi. Smh at this point, most fans said wtf????

After another 5 months of holding the title hostage, he takes on guerrero who everyone knew was on the south side of his career. And who had just bearly eaked out a decision against a guy who had been koed in his previous fight. Smh.*

then he takes ten more months off, and fights samuel vargas, who had been koed by spence 4 fights earlier. After getting koed by spence, vargas fights 3 tomato cans, and that's who the wbc champ decides to fight???? After taking 10 months off???? Smh

then, finally, after nearly four years of holding the wbc belt(s) hostage, and really fighting no one of note, he fights an actual threat in thurman. And thank the boxing gods, he loses.*

like i said earlier, had he won, after another 8 month layoff, he would have another b rated fighter lined up. Milking that title, waiting for the next big payday. Pfffttt!

The above mentioned fights and schedule would have been acceptable for a contender, but the wbc champ, over nearly four years?? With all due respect, gtfoh.*

fighters like garcia are what's wrong with boxing!

And i wouldn't call him 100% cherry picker, but when you combine the long layoffs, only to come back and fight a soft touch, i and most fans say garcia is full of that bs.

And the only thing that was wrong about my post above, is that garcia was going to line up another bs fight, weather he beat thurman or not.

                I can't wait till spence beats that a s s!! : )
mad respect to you comment sir!!!! You are indeed a boxing aficionado!!!!
