Here are the facts:you calling body parts now and stoppage styles? why didnt tyrell biggs get stopped like tyson? why didnt tyson get stopped like golota? they are all different fights. MOVE ON.
1) Lennox Lewis has beaten multiple opponents by 12 rounds unanimous decision.
2) Lennox Lewis has beaten multiple opponents by knocking them down to the canvas and keeping them down for the 10 count.
3) Lennox Lewis has beaten multiple opponents by TKO where he forced the referee to stop the fight, without there existing any bout ending eye cuts or eye injuries.
3) Lennox Lewis has only ever once defeated an opponent by inflicting a bout ending eye injury / cut. Which was against Vitali Klitschko.
4) Lennox Lewis has only ever once defeated an opponent by majority decision. Which was against Ray Mercer.
Therefore, Lennox Lewis was 'lucky' in his victories against Vitali Klitschko and Ray Mercer and was a coward for not giving them rematches like how Hasim Rahman and Oliver Mccall gave him rematches after they beat him the first time.
Lennox Lewis showed very little superiority in terms of boxing abilities against either Vitali Klitschko or Ray Mercer. He won in a way that he had never won before in his entire career. Ergo, that way of winning was 'luck' and not 'skillful' because skills are something one shows on a consistent basis and not just one time. If it happens one time, then it's luck. If someone is able to regularly perform something, then that's skills.
Mathematically false! Vitali Klitschko has a better win:loss ratio than either of those boxers with fewer losses out of the number of bouts he has had. Vitali Klitschko was also the dominant champion, along with his younger brother Wladimir Klitschko consistently for a longer period of time than either of those boxers. Vitali Klitschko cleaned out his division and stayed on top for longer than Mike Tyson, Holyfield or Frank Bruno.its not - guys liketyson, holy, bruno had better records.
Also, Mike Tyson was washed up and was losing to Danny Williams at the time Lennox Lewis fought him. In other words, Lennox Lewis receives very little credit for beating a washed up Mike Tyson that was losing to bums like Danny Williams.
Also, Evander Holyfield was old and past his best at the time Lennox Lewis fought him. Both Chris Byrd and Sultan Ibragimov did a better job of beating Evander Holyfield than Lennox Lewis did.
And Frank Bruno was never the best heavyweight in the world. Not once!
Lennox Lewis was the one who claimed: "I am like a fine wine that gets better with age". Ergo, his own words contradicts your above statement.But what is fact is Vitali fought the worst lewis, worse than anyone else fought. this is fact. Vitali had the best chance in that respect and failed worse than them.
Lennox Lewis should be expected to be at his best against Vitali Klitschko based on the standard he set for himself by making those claims. Ergo, no excuses for him being past his best be justifiably used.
He didn't defend himself against an illegal punch which he doesn't even need to worry about if the rules are properly enforced.because he didnt defend himself adequately. He went hail mary against an ATG, and paid the inevitable price.
Either way, Lennox Lewis didn't technically beat Vitali Klitschko. Vitali Klitschko was still on his feet, out-boxing Lennox Lewis and was willing to continue boxing. It was the referee that stopped the bout without Lennox Lewis unquestionably finishing off Vitali Klitschko. And the fact that Lennox Lewis avoided a rematch, only further proves that he couldn't beat Vitali Klitschko without luck being a huge factor. Otherwise, if he was so much better than Vitali Klitschko and you and his fans believe that such is the case, why didn't he prove it again by having the opportunity for preparing better and longer for the rematch and having the opportunity to beat Vitali Klitschko unquestionably and indisputably?
