No way did he deserve the W. It was a competitive fight, but Gatti was ahead and the kd in the 10th (i think) was the clincher.

What an embarrasement of Cotto, he couldnt finish off this guy, just imagine what will happend if he faces Castillo.... Anyone who thinks Cotto has a chance againts Castillo should be shot asap.

heart and skills dont go together, so having heart while getting your a$$ kicked is worthless. i dont know where the love from gatti comes from, dude is a bum who probably wont beat baldomir. everytime he has stepped up in competition he has gotten outclassed. i mean a fight with with cotto will look like his fight with delahoya. i mean ill watch every gatti fight because he is entertaining, but an a level fighter he isnt.

Im sure alot of fighters will have some type of problems when they fight Paulie, he dont have much pop but he is quick and akward and he is a southpaw..I think Cotto did very well with this type of Fighter, I cant wait to see him and Castillo go at it..now thats a great fight should be a war cause Castillo goes to fight head on like a bull so it should be a great matchup.

I thought Cotto did well in this fight, managed to get close enough to Malignaggi to get his shots away and land a good proportion of them; Hatton failed to get off when close to a slick boxer in Collazo. That said a fight between the two would be a tough one to call because Hatton has so much willpower and ringsmarts. At 140 I'd favour Hatton, at 147 possibly Cotto.

Cotto would be a heavy favourite against Gatti, but it wouldn't be a foregone conclusion.

              Styles.

This fight says nill about a castillo matchup. If anything look at a pressure fighter with a hard chin like Abduallaev.

?????? Won 9 rounds to 3, scored a KD, Broke his orbital bone, his jaw, and his nose, and he should be embarrassed??? are you ***in serious??? The only thing that kept Paulie up was his chin and his heart, neither Cotto or Paulie were embarrassed because neither of them had reason to be, Cotto dished out a beating, and Paulie took it like a man. Give Cotto the credit he deserves, he had a impressive performance. Remember that Castillo's last win against Rolando Reyes was not that impressive at all, and Castillo couldn't finish him. Not being able to KO someone does not discredit your career or ability.

Just remember- Rolando Reyes is garbage and was never hurt in that fight against Castillo.

Castillo is one of my favorite fighters, I think he is a great fighter, but saying that Cotto does not stand a chance against him shows your biasedness and inability to be a realistic boxing fan.

I don't think anyone has implied that.

I'm just setting guys like Borikua straight...he thinks Miguelito can actually do the things the great Tito Trinidad did.
I got to tell Borikua that from time because if I don't, his imagination will take him into lala land.
