That was the whole story behind Cotto fighting him (pre fight build up). That he deserved the W against Gatti.

Gatti/Manfredy was 9 years ago. Gatti's boxing skills have vastly improved. Mayweather could not put him away, the towel came in. I still dont see how everyone thinks Cotto will steamroll through him. Against Branco, Gatti clearly outboxed him. Cotto needs this fight to SHUT his critics up. IT will be his biggest Test. Forget Hatton , Hatton will "outwill" him...and I dont even like Hatton.

haha i know i have a tendency to do that, i dont post often so when i do i try to get it all out.

But i'll clear up a few things, Branco came NO WHERE CLOSE to beating Gatti, you obviously didnt see the fight, Branco was maybe won a rd or two and was floored from an injured right hand in the 10th.

Im going to say this in the shortest and most non biased way possible only based on facts, "Gatti has better boxing skills than cotto"

I guarantee you Gatti will beat Baldomir. I like Cotto man, but fighting a Hatton or a Castillo is HIGH RISK but it needs to be done to prove he belongs with the best. It will be worth the PPV thats for dam sure.
