It take real balls to call out Erislandy Lara. Especially, when you could fight Charlo and hold out for Lara to get older.

Jermell is more dangerous. Lara will box you not knock you out. Hurd is doing the right thing for himself. I don't know if Hurd can even get passed Lara & he won't beat Jermell.

I don't think Hurd can beat either Lara or Jermell but I respect him cuz at least Hurd is not like lil g that doesn't even mention Jermell's brother that is in his (lil g) division (Jermall). #Lions Only!

Thats my take exactly. I think in the later rounds Lara plays with him and he starts looking like Ronda Rousey bulling straight forward...

Hurd will knockout Lara because he can't beat him via decision... Its gonna be a cat & mouse affair.

Nelo is at 160 now & Jermell is at 154 & so is Hurd. Hurd is strong but he gets hit too easy. Lara outboxes him & Jermall K.O.'s Hurd. Jermall K.O.'s Hurd if he moved up to 160.

,I know their weights,I was just saying when canelo was at 154 both charlos wasn't fighting to get the other belts 1 of which was vacant(wbo) they were taking on contenders despite being champs,& they were (just like everyone was) trying to get the nelo payday.

I am not a big believer in either Charlo becoming p4p top 5 as to my eyes they are at jmw/mw because they aren't as skilled as a few other guys in their division,like every fighter they aren't perfect & have had some razor close calls before against decent (Jackson) to very skilled (trout) opponents.

I am not a hater of theirs I just think they have some major flaws in their game as does canelo/ggg/etc etc. I do think Jermell has made a massive improvement since switching from Shields though he just lacks ferociousness atm like jermall,& jermall just lacks boxing ability a bit, basically both combined together would make a potential atg fighter but separately their just big guys with decent to elite skills.

I do think Hurd vs Jermell is a 50-50 fight though...

Hurd was about to be defeated by shopworn Austin Trout, who outboxed him for quite a while; he won't lay a glove on Lara.

Lol, i got to a point with Andrade that i don't even read anything to do with him anymore. So am hoping Hurd is the opposite of him.

I believe Hurd actually wants to clean out the division. He took on Trout, because he said he wanted to be the first person to stop him, and now he's calling out Lara, so I have no choice to but to take him at his word. Hopefully Lara accepts....

The smart pick is Lara by decision, but Hurd imposing his will, and maybe getting to Lara late, I don't think is out of the question.

When Nelo was at 154 I think Jermall was his mandatory but Nelo was doing catchweights....I used to doubt the Charlos before the Trout match but they kept proving me wrong. I see now they mean business. Hurd looks strong but slow & his defense is not so good that's why I think Lara can outbox him & Jermell stops him.

I like Hurd but the stance he had against Trout was wierd. He literally was tripping over his own feet. If he fights like that, Lara wins 12-0 decision.
