I haven't even heard him say he wants Hurd. I did hear him say he wouldn't have a problem fighting Jermell! I just want to hear Lara's choice of his next fight! Charlo or Hurd, I'm good!

Don't act like Lara wasn't horribly robbed against Paul Williams and the Canelo fight could have gone either way. Say what you want but Lara has been the man at 154 for some time and would be favored over Hurd and Charlo. i agree with you that he needs to fight somebody good now but let's not discredit the guy here.

Lara is the man at 154. However, he is starting to get old. It has been ages since he put a beating on Paul Williams. Mad props to Hurd for stepping up. Ever since that Williams fight, Lara has been avoided like the plague. Canelo was the only one willing to step up and fight him.

I don't know which fight would make more money, but it is only right for either Hurd or Charlo to face Lara. And then the winner faces the odd man out. Lara has earned that. Let the young lions try to take on the experienced champ. Lara has been avoided his entire career, but if he can get a fight with Hurd and then a fight with Charlo; well back-to-back wins like that would cement a hall-of-fame career.
