I prefer to see Hurd vs Charlo for the Unification than to see Charlo vs Lara even though Lara has more of a Back Story. Fan of Lara but his window has closed and even tho he is WBA Champion it seems like the Division has moved on without him already

He should fight charlo now because he's not good enough to beat Lara. At least it will be a good fight against charlo, win, lose or draw but he'll lose by lopsided decision in a snooze fest against Lara.

When the the dust settles in this division, i believe Hurd is going the be the last man standing.
He is big, strong, takes a good punch and slowly grinds you down with pressure and hurtful punches.

And i have a lot of respect for the other guys.
Lara's time is pretty much up and I believe Hurd is the man who is going to ease him into retirement.

I hope Lara responds to the call out.

Hurd v Charlo can wait...for a super fight where both can make good money.

Is Lara taking this fight or is he fighting another bum? The guy has been fighting for 10 years and 29 fights and only fought 3 genuinely, unequivocal world class fighters at the weight going 1-2. Now he is 34 years old and almost irrelevant.

          We're seeing Rigo 2.0

Don't act like Lara wasn't horribly robbed against Paul Williams and the Canelo fight could have gone either way. Say what you want but Lara has been the man at 154 for some time and would be favored over Hurd and Charlo. i agree with you that he needs to fight somebody good now but let's not discredit the guy here.

Not sure he'd be favored over Charlo...

and who are you exactly? That fight might be big in your home town but internationally noone cares about that division.

Results are irrelevant. You can open up a separate thread on that. My point is simple, 10 year pro with 3 world class fights under his belt and you're labeling him the best light middle. That's a joke

That's because he's still calling out GGG while he fights this guy...

Well, he completely outclassed williams. He did it so thoroughly that the 3 judges were suspended for life. And the ginger fight was a little bit of a fix. He looked like a novice in there.
