Salido's win vs Loma: Just due to low blows? Or good boxing performance?

Did Salido only get the win because he came in over the weight limit and threw some low blows?

Or did he actually fight pretty well?

    How did you see it?

The true reason I saw was that he kept neutralizing his movement and refused to let Loma dictate the space/distance and the fight as a whole. Yea, there were low-blows, but a lot of other guys have defeated Salido while getting low-blowed. Why didn't these tender ones cry for all the other guys Salido low-blowed?? Low-blows didn't make Loma lose. Salido was a seasoned pro fighting an amateur that night. Loma learned a lesson and now fights like a pro.

Notice how the fans that keep bringing up the low blows never mention Loma's holding?

These are the same fans that say Loma gets a pass for fouling in the Rigondeaux fight because Rigo was holding.

Why doesn't Salido get a pass then?

No, it was not everything due to dirty tactics, but the dirty tactics was EXTREMELY helpful for Salido.

He did fairly well. He was fighting a guy in his second pro fight and next to no pro seasoning but obviously went on to become one of the best fighters in the world. The notion that Loma was in his absolute prime here and hasn't improved is crazy.

The fight itself was close and could have gone the other way but Salido was almost out of it in the last round and definitely benefited from a lot of missed calls. I'm sure they had an impact because if they are called correctly he loses a point and then perhaps a second and his fight plan is out the window. It's doubtful Loma ever fought a fighter who got away with so many fouls and especially a pro fighter in a 12 round title fight.

Salido came in overweight and fouled like a ****ing puto. All he did was win by a split decision with a corrupt ref who did **** all to enforce proper boxing rules and give any single warning regarding low blows. Loma was treating him like the bltch that he is in the final rounds. Salido had nothing left.

Salido can go back to bar fights and beating up women.

I think the answer is somewhere between the two options. First I thought Loma deserved the win. Salido did come in overweight and he did land a ton of low blows and that helped him get the win. Salido did fight well and he did take the fight to Loma and gave him hell. I just think Loma edged him out and deserved the win. Salido was game and tough as hell and he fought his heart out as he always does.

quit crying..the ref had nothing to do with the judges scoring the fight..siri came in over weight but loma was not obligated to fight him because of the weight..they tought it was gonna be easy work for loma and thats wen the phrase cherry picking gone wrong comes to mind
