As for Cotto, he said in the press conference this was, without "fear of being wrong", his last fight at 140. We will see him at 147 for his next fight.
I know he lost at 154. My point was that Margarito is killing guys at 147 and usally outweighs them by alot but he went to 154 one time and didnt look as good and that was against the worse of the best. After watching him in that fight you probally wouldnt pick him to beat any of the elite guys at 154?

Ill watch it this week and Ill know for sure but you heard me say that "all in all I will give Cotto alot of credit because I think the objective fans said that Paulie showed well and came to fight".
There is no doubt that Paulie showed well and came to fight, read my Paulie, gained respect or not thread but what I said still holds true. Paulie won about 4 of the middle rounds. But even in rounds he lost he attempted to fight back and sit on a few punches. If someone says Paulie wasn't competitive then they are just blinded by there love of Cotto. If someone says that the fight was really close and Cotto barely won, its because they are blinded by there hate of Cotto.

I'd say Malignaggi was better than expected, and Cotto was unimpressive, reminded me a little of Calzaghe-Lacy but Malignaggi's lack of power lost him the fight. If Malignaggi was no powderpuff Cotto would likely have been KO'ed inside 6. Malignaggi gave as good as he got, maybe even better but the champ got the benefit of the doubt.

(Just watched the d-load)I agree that Cotto clearly won but it wasn't as one sided as many had suggested IMO. I think that PM doesn't have anything to be ashamed of he's not the first fighter to PROMOTE a fight and not do EXACTLY as he predicted. I was impressed because he took some punishment and did some good thing's,if he had a couple more fight's of that caliber prior then who know's what PM would be capable of.

See, this is what I mean. Some guys just have totally different accounts of the fight but maybe it just seems weird to me because I didnt watch it because really, alot of people have big differences of accounts in every fight after its over. I guess Ill take it all in and then watch it for myself next week when I get the tape and judge it

Yes, at the end of the fight, when Evangelista was taking Cotto's left glove off, he actually shouted in pain not once, but twice. I believe he really did hurt his hand and if you watch the press conf. you will see him hold his left hand in weird positions and he never fully rests it on the podium or makes a fist like he does with his right. If he's acting then he deserves an oscar, lol.
