So spare us this 'I hate fighter x because of his fanbase' BS. You hate Golovkin and Pacquiao because they're foreign fighters and you're not used to/comfortable with foreign fighters getting praise. They also were/are a threat to your favourites. That's all there's to it.

Only a very weak minded fool hates a fighter because of what his fans say.
that might be true...cept i dont hate on kovalev or loma....and ummm ive been to see pac fight live 3x...twice in vegas and against algieri in macau(have stubs and passport stamps to prove it too....i was accused of hating asians on another boxing board till i broke that out)

thats simply not the case....no matter how much you want to believe it...i dont even dislike pac....but i was put off by the constant badgering of floyds career by his fanbase.......it still happens to this day

most of pacs fans have moved on to golovkin and exhibited the same behavior...not only towards floyd but many others

Just use the Nair you use on your legs and back. Should work.

And Floyd or Ward are immune to criticism? They both have done and said questionable things like Floyd retiring at the time the division was heating up, ducking Margarito or Ward trying to drag SMWes to LHW, his fouling or his sense of entitlment and diva attitude.

You do the same thing you accuse others of. Stop acting like your **** don't stink, I've read your posts and it definitely does.

What can you hate about Golovkin if you are a non-brotha?

He always comes to fight. He doesn't run, hold, and all those boring styles.

Canelo held off the fight for years, did OK but ran too much and was given a gift draw.

GGG is older, had to wait, pressed the action and was given a draw in a fight he probably eeked out.

                Stop complicating simple stuff.

Smart buisness moves don't necessarily equate to universal love by the boxing public. Some of those smart moves involved lots of catchweight fights and dropping a title He comes across to some as entitled and a Prima Donna. I respect him for getting in the ring with Golovkin at a proper weight. No catchweight. I get the impression that he doesn't give a rat's ass about boxing tradition. Is that good or bad? It's up to the fans to decide. Hence the annoyance with Canelo. Saying that one group hates Canelo and reveres G or vice versa is polarizing. There are no shades of grey with that attitude.

Cotto is a legend but is really a 140-147lb fighter and he was older.

Khan was athletic but couldn’t take a punch well and was really a 140-147 lber.

Canelo seems like an OK guy in real life but the moves he makes make him the bad guy in this scenario.
