why is canelo hated and golovkin revered?

The reality is that Golovkin finalized his legacy over a guy who started a year before him at the age of 15.... Golovkin was already at 160 when Nelo started FFS.


Lil'G fans were reinvigorated when Cottonand Nelo became narratives, years after 2013...when Lil'G was on record telling Esnews that he'd fight Ward at 164...that he needed "time.."

For a fanbase to see through all these facts only reflects cowardice or an excuse for not daring to be great...

I hope Loma never fights Mikey so that in the future we can say the fight was "there."

GGG has been openly ducked by a long list of guys, (including the guy in my avatar). but when he openly ducked ward he became no different than them. bussines moves.

and the canelo hate is maybe due to how floyd fans jumped on his wagon. canelo the new floyd. floyd picked him to KO ggg and dissed golovkin as one dimensional "straight up and down".. so ggg fans said fck u floyd and by association its fck canelo too.

floyd/pac was the start of it...i actually was a huge pac fan....even went to see him fight live twice....but i witnessed his fans both online and in person tear down floyd and swear he was going to kick his arse and that he was ducking.....that basically set the stage for where we are today

even after actually giving GGG his precious fight canelo still gets slammed to this day......maybe a handful of his fans can admit it was a real close fight where canelo did some good work....still gets accused of waiting for golovkin to get old...still called names and accused of ducking a rematch(just like we saw with ward/kova "why hasnt it been signed yet")

i would never want to see a fight NOT happen just to throw in the face of a fan base...i dont work like that

but we have a history with canelo and golovkin and others to look back on......and some people refuse to see anything wrong with golovkin

it was when it began.....obviously floyd fans had to strike back and retaliate....

i remember when i was at pac/hatton...how many of the pac fans(both filipino and otherwise) were shouting about how he would destroy floyd both in the arena and on the way back to the casino portion of the mgm.......then they began swearing that floyd was ducking in the months and years to come

obviously floyd fans got on the defensive and launched their own campaign.....but pac was loved...heck even floyd was at his fights getting excited and giving him props at one point....but too many people started tearing floyd down and making him a scapegoat and it turned into war

Every fanbase does that. Literally every single one.

So spare us this 'I hate fighter x because of his fanbase' BS. You hate Golovkin and Pacquiao because they're foreign fighters and you're not used to/comfortable with foreign fighters getting praise. They also were/are a threat to your favourites. That's all there's to it.

Only a very weak minded fool hates a fighter because of what his fans say.
