What fighters do you root for ? I bet they've as a whole been matched up easier then Danny on the way up and during their championship runs
Fact is he's gone into fights including his last one where he was the underdog. He's probably gone into more fights as the underdog then all your favourite fighters and has only lost once
Yeah he got exposed by Herrera and Peterson both close fights that he won
Were you as upset about Danny fighting Salka as you were Horn fighting Corican a fighter that's ranked around 100th by boxrec? Probably didn't say a word
Oh my god 2 years between a prime Lamont and Prime Thurman. How many other fighters fought 2 Prime established high level boxers in that time frame ?
He paid Postol off because Postol is a nobody who's claim to fame is beating a fighter that Danny already beat. Since Lucas lost he went life and desth will Ruslan and Molina before he fought Postal
Postol fought like 4 times in 4 years and was only considered #2 in the division because all the threats had moved on so he got there by default.
It just seems to you every fighter who's not elite according to you is a bum or a has been.
What fighter would please a lame like you for Garcia to fight next ?
I didn't know there was a time limit when or how often fighters fight. He suffered his first loss and had his first kid are those good reasons to take some time off. Why aren't you bitc.hing about Postol fighting. He fights less then Danny where are your complaints about Matthysse fighting so rarely and when they do fight it's against nobodies.

he was always overrated. remember it was tony "im wards biggest fan" weeks that helped him get that win over matthysse by ignoring all the low blows and giving him a knockdown after a blatant foul. without that he loses and he was fighting a half blind guy and still needed that extra help. garcias the kind of fighter that needs to be the a-side to win since hes not going to dominate anyone decent. if hes not the a-side like against thurman hes going to take losses. if mattysse had been the a-side different story, if herrera had been different story, if peterson had been maybe a different story etc...when you dont have the skills you gotta have the politics in your favor like ward and garcia has lost the political edge so i think its downhill from here.Last edited by daggum; 12-29-2017, 04:05 AM.Comment

Maybe if he beat welterweights that weren't a bum or a has-been, he wouldn't have been the underdog against Thurman.

I roasted Horn all over the forums when I found out he was fighting Corcoran instead of Crawford.
Who did Peterson actually beat? The referee gave him gift points against Khan, and he lost his belt once he was exposed for taking PEDs. He was beaten by Bradley, and knocked out by Matthysse. He had the WBA regular title, which is equivalent to an interim belt. I'm not sold on Peterson, until he convincingly beats a high level welterweight. Malignaggi fought Juan Diaz twice, and Amir Khan within 2 years.
If Postol's a nobody, then what are Herrera and Salka? Herrera wasn't even ranked in the top 50 in the WBC or WBA, which were the titles he fought Danny for. Salka wasn't even ranked in Garcia's division, and was ranked 77th in his own.
None of that matters. He was Garcia's mandatory, and Garcia paid him, just to fight cherries. That's ducking, if I've ever seen it.
I'm lame for telling the truth? Sorry that you're too much of a fanboy to see how sus Garcia is. Garcia's gonna have to beat either Thurman, Spence, Porter or Crawford to get respect from me. Speaking of Porter, didn't Garcia duck him for Rios? LOL
Last time I checked, he had his first child in 2015, and I never said that there's a time limit to anything. If you're only fighting twice a year, you gotta fight decent opponents to keep people interested. Who the hell wants to watch a guy fight bums and has-beens twice a year?
Danny Garcia had all the potential in the world, and he's wasting it away. Postol's just a guy Danny ducked.

Add to it what he did the previous 3 years before that when Most of the fighters listed fought nobodies. But yeah the fighter with the second deepest resume in his age group is a cherry picker.
Yeah ducked Postal to fight a better fighter who's accomplished more in Lamont on a huge platform makes sense to me.
He chose not to fight Postol because he's a absolute nobody and had beaten nobody just a internet sensation and the 1 time he stepped up to Elite level he got embarrassed. And he had a option to fight Lamont instead , the last remaining decent name that Garcia didn't fight to basically clear out the division before he officially jumped up to 147
I thought Garcia / Herrera was a close fight that could have gone either way I had it 7-5. The reason he fought Herrera was because Herrera was the last 140 at the time to beat Ruslan who held the strap at the time. Basically Garcia beat all the belt holder or beat the last guy to beat the belt holders at 140 at the time.
I like how clearing out a decent division isn't enough for you to earn your respect I bet your fan of and respect boxers who have accomplished much less. So all he has to do is clear out his second division which is the most stacked in boxing yeah that's not a tall task
Obviously lots of people watch Garcia regardless of how often he fights and what your opinions are because his fights have consistently been the most watched fights the last couple years.Comment
