Canelo Alvarez has gone through 4 classes. Golovkin has fought two fights above the Middleweight limit back in 2008, and Lil'G is significantly bigger than Hagler....

In 2008 Golovkin beat Nelo weighing in at 161.5, half a pound over Nelo''s 155 pound variant from 154... where's the big drama there?

Furthermore, Lara, Kirkland, Angulo have way more fights in previous years before Canelo weight above 155! So therefore, why were they fighting still at 154 when Nelo came into fame? Nelo's 155 bouts are five in total, about 10 fights less than Lara, Kirkland, and Angulo wit their bout years before reaching above 163lbs... In those times Canelo was still a young pup at Welterweight!!

    A run these streets.

What division would 154.1 fall in?

You're making excuses for a man that fought in the MW division for YEARS! Then have the nerve to try to bring up Khan or Brook who moved up for ONE FIGHT to try to justify this BS. You have to invent terms like genuine middleweight (which is defined NOWHERE) to try to justify your bullsh it. You've gone as far as to say weights don't matter to try to justify this bullsh it.

And if you're not smart enough to realize that means I'm joking, then I cant help you with that

So what you're saying here is that Canelos MW opponents had prior MW experience?

Thats what I said. He has fought guys above 154 that have experience fighting above 154.

Of course... so when you hear cliche narratives about "Caneloweight" it was against guys already fighting above 154 long before he. Cotto vs Nelo was fair, and it benefitted Cotto imo.

Only fight in which I feel was a filler fight was against Khan. The power differential was always apparent and Khan''s punches just flicked off like small pellets shot onto a locomotive.

Again, JCC vs Nelo was a justified catchweight. Industry was surprised that Julio took Beristain''s camp super seriously...though it was a big payday once again for Jr.

                Black-Nelo 2.0 Cowboy is a pimpmeister

Yeah Canelo drained 40lbs from Middleweight when he started pro. Pacquiao was trolling at Flyweight and Feather, draining, cause of course he was a hidden 140 fighter which is why he got knocked out earlier in his career.

Damn son, why you always getting owned bruh?

For some reason, I thought the discussion was about Canelo fighting at 155 and his opponents at 155. When did it become about the start of his career.

Damn son, why you always being slow?

If Canelo were fighting Middleweights he would've requested Arum style middle ground where Nelo would ask for 157 against ranked Middleweights.

This would mean that Gennady Golovkin's fights against Dziarra and Amari at a 161-161.5 weigh is "technically" Super Middleweight back in 2008? Thats what the Nelo haters are suggesting? Cause many suggest Canelo at 155 was "Middleweight."

Let's review Canelo's opponents before they met.
