It's not opinion - it's a fact - GGG was just about as effective as Canelo at landing power punches - Canelo literally only landed 4 more. It's an nonfactual point made.

Yes G did land power shots despite what you said. Jabs also count as punches or didn't you know that. Canelo Alvarez's power punches didn't stop Golovkin from coming forward so they were largely ineffective. Golovkin's jab forced Canelo to the ropes. They were effective because they had the desired effect. Controlling Canelo and moving him to the ropes. Once G got him on the ropes he took power off his punches thus limiting Canelo counters. Those punches scored points for Golovkin. Canelo because he has a Mayweather fetish thought that was going to win him the fight because isn't that what Floyd does. Well he isn't Floyd.
