so a faded oscar is the equivalent of a prime ray @ 147?

Floyd's a clown but he is indeed an excellent boxer.

I posted this a while back so I'll recap here. Only six fighters legitimately beat Mayweather and they are: SRL, Duran, Hearns and Benitez at 147 and Chavez and Pryor at 140.

Everybody else like Pacquiao (prime), DLH (prime), Trinidad and Whitaker are 50-50 vs Floyd.

          2. Sugar got knocked around the ring by Hearns when he was 33. Dropped twice. Terry Norris beat him up a year later and held back because he loved Sugar and Light hitting Camacho Brutalized him when he was 40.

Bread's favorite fighter is Sugar Ray. So like any human being he leans slightly to his favorite.

The question needs to be asked, who is more likely to be knocked out Sugar Ray a guy who was dropped several times or Floyd a guy who has never been on his ass.

Who is more like to figure out a way to win, a guy who always figures out a way or a guy with losses.

They talk about the side difference, Floyd fought many bigger guys and won. Floyd has boxed, slugged, jabbed, played defense, and has done everything to win. I will take him over anyone in his history because he always figures it out.
You can't compare ages from 20-30 years ago to ages today.

Athletes in every sport are playing/fighting a lot longer than they used to.

Tom Brady's 40 and the best player in football right now.

IF Sugar RAy was fighting today with todays strength & conditioning, he'd still be a beast.

Then let's not compare them at all.

Loved the answer to the question below.

              Hey Stephen,
I have to say I am convinced Lomachenko is already better than and has surpassed Mayweather in terms of ability and resume? I know he doesn't have the incredible marketing power and self promotion of Mayweather and on the face of it Lomachenko looks clearly to be the better boxer? Did Mayweather ever envision being eclipsed so soon? Your thoughts?
              Aaron
Bread’s Response: You’re a very sick young man. Those are my thoughts. Loma is a special talent but it’s way to early to say he has a better resume than Floyd Mayweather. As far as ability he you may have a better case but you’re still off and here is why. We need to see if that ability carries over vs elite guy after elite guy.

i don't see too much difference...floyd jr. just had more discipline than sr., in a far more watered down era of boxing...

Thank you Breadman. Actually someone that knows boxing. Instead of these dumb mfs on this board that's trying to anoint a fighter with 11 fights and a loss to a journeyman as the greatest ever. Smh
