who cares if that falls within the middleweight range, when you cannot enter the fight as a true middleweight by design
also, it was only 1 fkn lb..... as Canelo proved with Liam Smith
1 pound means so much to these clowns, and 5lbs means sooooo very little
also, who judges a bout/fighter by the division MINIMUM ?
casual-fans should be tied up, p1ssed on, then dragged behind a horse
You can call it an "official sanctioned middleweight title fight" if you want.
Objectively speaking it's not a true fight at that weight class. If it were there wouldn't be countless angry debates about CW victories in the May-Pac era.

the elephant in the room.....

It's a CW due to the limit of 155lb (Assuming that's the contest you're referring to in the question).
these casuals have totally embarrassed themselves
what on earth could make them behave so ******ly ?
no, wait..... I think I know.....

no, wait..... Canelo whooped Angulo
sorry, my bad..... it was Golovkin who paid step-aside money to duck CottoOriginally posted by aboutfkntime View Post
NOT supporting Canelo's lame/unprofessional 155 rubbish
but.....
.
FACT: not one of those catchweights drained his opponent
those catchweights did not even disadvantage his opponents..... he gave himself an extra pound that likely benefitted him more than them..... if any of them were struggling to make weight, then it benefitted them as well

the point is, you nailed it earlier
Golovkin refused 155, because he did not want to be limited..... and these clowns happily supported that decision, despite Golovkin talking all of that "154-168" rubbish
Canelo was limited to 155..... but, that is close enough for these casuals
they don't care that Canelo had never weighed more than 1lb over the JMW limit, and that he had never faced a middleweight opponent..... the two-faced casual-fan cvnts just wanted their guy to have an advantage
