Its obvious he can handle the Middleweight division look at how well he absorbed Golovkin's punches. Golovkin hit him solidly numerous times. He's shorter than G true. His reach on box rec is 1/2 inch longer. He has a blocky body type so he could very well weigh as much as G, more, or close to it on fight night. Canelo defenders are claiming Canelo can beat guys like Lemieux, Saunders and Jacobs all career Middleweights but at the same time crying that Canelo isn't a real middleweight. They need to stop lying to themselves..

****HEAD..... we are talking about 155lb Canelo

don't you go changing the subject now kid

155 Canelo is pre-Smith..... immediately after Smith, Canelo announced his intention to move up to 160

    stop being a ****head

It's a CW due to the limit of 155lb (Assuming that's the contest you're referring to in the question).

      exactly

who cares if that falls within the middleweight range, when you cannot enter the fight as a true middleweight by design

also, it was only 1 fkn lb..... as Canelo proved with Liam Smith

1 pound means so much to these clowns, and 5lbs means sooooo very little

also, who judges a bout/fighter by the division MINIMUM ?

casual-fans should be tied up, p1ssed on, then dragged behind a horse

FACT: lil'G ducked Ward TWICE !!

        and he also ducked Cotto

especially after talking all of that 154-168 smack..... refusing to negotiate on weight with Cotto..... and then saying that he is ready willing and able to fight at 154, but nobody will step up

          no, wait..... Canelo whooped Angulo

sorry, my bad..... it was Golovkin who paid step-aside money to duck Cotto
Golovkin didn't pay step aside money you nut case. At the request of the WBC to make the fight Golovkin agreed to step aside and let the Cotto Canelo fight be made. He got paid by Cotto. The winner of the fight was to fight Golovkin. The fight didn't happen because Canelo vacated his title claiming the WBC was being unreasonable.

                and Mr " anyone from 154-168 " didn't ?
