Yes it's the second time he's turned down the fight because he wanted more money. He asked for more money this time and they weren't willing to give it to him. The only way he's gonna get the money he wants is by brining a belt to the table. The only way to get that belt is by beating Bivol. At least he's not complaining about wanting more money but not doing anything to earn it. He's actually trying to earn his higher payday. And he's going about it the hard way.

Firstly, to this day I wonder why most people say that Holyfield was "spanking" Tyson in the second fight. It was quite level until the bite.

Anyhow, if Bivol - like I suspect - will knock Barrera out, this might result in a pretty ****** move by the Cuban.

Is beating Kovalev really greatness? They both have losses to the same person. If you want to honest Barrera's resume is just as good as Kovalev's, if he beats Bivol it's certainly better than Kovalev's. Greatness is beating Bivol and Kovalev back to back!

It's a business move. If he beats Bivol, his fight with Kovalev becomes a unification. That entitles him to a better percentage split when it comes to negotiating.

Kovlaev is 1-1 against Ward. He won the first fight.

What?!?!? Someone on boxingscene that doesn't just assume Barrera is scared of Kovalev? Logic? On boxingscene?
