Haymon's footprints are all over the place in this fight.
Who tf is this Lipinets guy? How many have heard of this nobody?
    Why not Garcia vs Easter?
    Is Haymon protecting Easter?

Beating lipinets means what? His titles in his come back have been nothing more than paper belts.

If he beats Linares at 135 (would be a unification) after getting through Linpinets, and then unifies at 140 as well. He will be #1 p4p.

          I wouldn't say #1

          But definitely top 4

He ran through Salido when it actually meant something

          Easy wins over Martinez, Juamma

Came back beat Zlantican who beat Burns before Indongo , which is Indongos best win and part of the reason they hype up Bud as #1

And moved up in weight and pitched a shut out over Broner being the first non WW to do so

If he gets past Lipinets he will have got his straps over Salido, Roman Martinez, Zlatican, Lipinets

That's a better list of names then Crawford who got his straps off of Burns, Dulhorme, Postol , Indongo

Or Gennady who is Lemiuex, Rubio , Simon , Wade

Or Kovs who was Cleverly, A senior citizen B-Hop , Shabransky

          Easy case for top 4

I just remembered Broner is a 4 weight division champion and he stinks and has never been remotely close to being on anyone's top 10 pfp best list. Mikey beating 4 weak champions in 4 different weight classes does not earn him a number 1 spot on pfp best lists. It's not how many alphabet belts you win but how good you look for your weight class that matters in the pfp lists.

Beating Lipinets would be like beating Dominic Wade after he won a vacant title.

Who has Loma beat for that "man who beat the man" spot against defending Champions. Rigo's fame came from beating Donaire... that was legitimate p4p..

If all cases can be applied to Mikey, and all examples seem to be equal, then it isn't hard to place Mikey at 1-2 spot, especially since up ahead he will have fought in 4 classes
broner has titles in 4 classes too. Thats why that isn't as important. Loma has Gary Russell Jr, Nicolas Walters (who beat the man in Nonito in far more dominant fashion than Rigo did), Sosa, Rocky and Rigo. That is a better resume.

People seem to forget how many people picked Walters and Rigo to beat Loma. It is just a better resume.

Wanting Rigo to beat Loma is not the same as "picking" Rigo to win. The odds were never in favor of Rigondeaux, don't make stuff up. Rigo was the underdog going up 2 classes and was already a small Super Bantamweight. Rigo would've called out Loma at 130 the moment Loma fought at 130 if he thought it was an easy win. Don't make up lies.

Walters was an inactive Top Rank fighter. Industry knows what goes on, as Floyd told the public himself how Walters was shelved.

You talk about people "forgetting," context is everything...M.Garcia beat Salido or Martinez long before Lomas was in the mix meanwhile those fighters were already taking more damage in fights. Read the thread title.

LMAOOOO Walters wasn't shelved. He was offered the fight 6 months earlier and didn't like the money so he put himself on the shelf. Stop the lies. Then he took the exact same money six months later for the fight. Floyd shelved Mickey Bey, Saul Rodriguez, Andrew Tabiti so if anyone knows anything about being shelved its him. Floyd, Cotto, Manny, Marquez had came back off of long layoffs and won. So has Thurman, Garcia etc. Stop the excuses.

Rigo isn't a big super bantamweight and Rigo isn't a big 130 pounder so stop. Lots of people in this very forum picked Rigo and also Walters so just stop trying to fit an agenda.
