So a full intense training camp for a fighter with water weight is no problem at all without using anything.
Glad you understand, we burn calories like mad, peace homie.

That's not his fighting weight. He won't be 177 in the ring so is irrelevant. Being fat before a camp isn't an advantage, only a disadvantage.

That's a lot of weight to lose but not all that uncommon. Hatton used to lose like 40 pounds in training camp.

Dat Thanksgiving and Christmas season food been gettin to him

I think the value of being close to your fight weight between camps is underrated. Now Crawford's put himself in the situation where he's got a lot of weight to lose (although a manageable amount for a modern pro boxer).

Judging by his consistent ability to make 140 I still expect that he will make 147 with ease and probably not enter the ring as heavy as 177.

True but it would still be dumb for Loma to move up that much anyway.

Moving up 2 weight classes is always a risk, and unlike Rigo, Loma doesn't need to do that to make a good check.

What any fighter walks around at doesn't matter. What they actually weigh while in fighting shape does.

This is correct. I don't know if we know Crawfords recent fight night weights though.
