If he walks around at 177 then he walks around as a fat boxer. No boxer should be 30 pounds over their fighting weight between fights but many of them are. Mayweather fought at 147 and walked around at about 155. Crawford is fighting at 147 now so 165 might be a reasonable walking around weight. If he walks around at 177 then he is fat for a serious pro boxer.

147 is the division limit NOT his fighting weight. At welter he may fight at 157 that puts his walk around 20lbs over from fighting weight. Those first ten pounds to shed are very easy
to move.

Duran at 135 weigh ins would often balloon to 45 pounds over his limit.
